[Rescuing Ayuka: Arc 5]
A 'Spiritual Mode'! One of the basic techniques that a Ginkenian should master! It's another extension to their power and allows them to seperate their spirit from their body on the outside. A linking technique such as this one is necessary for Ginkenians because of it's polluted power, allowing them to switch dimensions between Zero World and Planet Earth. This ability is usually not shown by the trained Ginkenians but their pressure can be felt. Once the Spirit Seperates through the body their potential can be easily overwhelmed and a basic Ginkenian could easily be harmed by their own Spirit. The 'Spirit Mode' is quite different and the bodies of Ginkenians become Spiritual, through seeable and very difficult to learn. But the weakness of such body is risky.... Currently we still do not know much about this mysterious technique.....
- Two days later -
Tokyo City - Sora Street - Saturday, 2:25 p.m.|
From the last day, Codey has yet to find the escaped Shade, so he decide to go grab several items for his home. ("Living here for a while it's actually kind of weird... great, now I forgot what I came for?") Codey checked the list and tried to find what he forgot to buy. "Am I even missing something...?" Codey was checking around the store but then in surprise, he came across something very unexpected, the storage room of that store, his senses seemed to be boiling when he immediately became terrified and shook on the spot, he faced at the counter but the seller seemed to have no idea. ("Does... the seller even realize about this thing.... I gotta get through here and see for myself, what's making that sound, but... how am I supposed to get to it..... the sellers won't allow me to enter, so... problem here is for me to somehow sneak into it...)" But while thinking of it, the senses of Codey backed away. ("The sense! It's gone....") As Codey believed that that was an accidant he then made sure once more to face at the door. ("I gotta make sure, so I better return at night and sneak into it..)" Codey then hurried along to the paying table and payed for what he bought. "Thank you for your payment." Codey's stuff were put into the bag as he immediately hurried through the door but then, Sayori dropped in and scared Codey. "Hey." Codey was already terrified of her. "What the hell Sayori! What are you doing, jumping at me as if you wanted to kill me!" Codey shouted but to his advancing words, Sayori sighed. "I felt some weird feeling around this and came across you at the same time..." Quickly answering to Codey, Sayori stood before him. "So.. you've felt it too... well, it seemed to have been coming from their storage and they seemed to have no clue about it and going behind the store isn't easy, we aren't allowed to get in there.." Codey quickly explained when a car just drove past them on the road. "You felt it in the storage... how can you be sure?" But when Sayori asked, sighing Codey then spoke. "When I was near it, I heard some hits and bounces, but it seemed that nobody in there could hear it, it's possible because for me, I seem to have better senses than anybody else, so it's pretty much easy for me to understand..." Sayori then became unamused and crossed her arms. "That true, huh? Suppose it might.... fine, so what's your plan here?" Sayori added in between questions. "I was thinking that I should return at the closing hour and sneak in, then try to get in the storage room... do you know when they close at Saturdays?" But Sayori who was looking at her friend began thinking. "I'm pretty sure they close at 7:00 p.m... but don't quote me on that, could be sooner or later.... if y'know what I mean, I don't come to this store so lively or so often, nor have I came at Saturdays...." Codey then thanked to Sayori and nodded. "Well, I'll go there before 7 p.m... then I'll try to enter without nobody seeing me or suspecting me..." Sayori was quickly disappointed. "You'll be tryna' to do that on your own, seriously?" And to Sayori's question, Codey nodded. "Shouldn't you at least have me with you for support and lookout?" And luckly, Codey came to a conclusion and idea. "Actually... I got a better idea.... maybe you should be the one to distract the seller for me to sneak behind them and enter, then, just stand on lookout or something." Codey explained with confidence and smile. "You want me to be a distraction.... seriously, you know I'm not good with random people... but fine, I'll do it, I suppose.... heesh..." Sayori accepted the request and turned away. "Great! Meet me here at 6:45 p.m... or whenever before that! I'll be waiting for you at the store's entrance." Luckly Sayori too accepted that. "But for now! Gotta get my bought stuff back home! See you, call out if ya need something!" With british call, Codey dashed back home. "Of course... a girl has to be a distraction, why can't he do that instead of me...ugh." But finally accepting her role, Sayori walked away for the quick meet up.
- A few hours later -
Tokyo City - Sora Street - Saturday, 6:40 p.m.|
Codey hurried through the street and came to the store he was before. "Here we are... just gotta wait for Sayori~" But soon after, Sayori came clashing down behind him and with him being overfocused on the store, never realized. Sayori seemed to be unamused and then slowly moved her face near Codey's ear and whispered. "Hey..." And soon after, Codey came smashing. "Gah! What the!?" Codey slipped from the pole but caught himself. "What the hell Sayori! I said, don't do that!" But then Sayori just spoke with a sigh. "You were too deep, focusing on the seller, it was a perfect opportunity to scare you a bit..." Sayori answered with her palms on her hips. "Ha... ha... ha! So funny, isn't it!" Before knowing it, Codey was already annoyed. "Fine, so you expect me to wait here for 15 more minutes.... good job, couldn't have we met here, around 5 minutes before they leave, great thinking..." Sayori declined his thoughts. "Aw, come on! Me neither isn't very patient... but gotta do it, we need to make a plan~" But then, Sayori began saying. "Or, I just sit on the bench, wait for the seller to close and exit, stop her before closing the front door and then distract her with speech, mean that, should be enough for you to sneak in..." As Codey heard the plan he sat up, he became very squiggly into his face. "
...Guess that could work...." But soon, interfering, Sayori said. "Could! No it will work... you make these stuff so complicated, so I'll just keep you away from making the strategy..." But then, the final customer left the store and the seller seemed to have begun closing shop. "Guess coming here sooner was a good idea after all.... so what exactly do you believe that lies in that storage?" Sayori asked and began making sure. "Not exactly sure.. but sensing seemed to be a type representing a Shade, it could be just a mistake from my senses... but, I cannot be sure...." They kept stalking down the seller, but then finally Sayori dropped down onto the bench. But before the seller left, the girl seemed to have been acting strange, she was looking around as if she were to hide something, she blocked the storage door and then dressed up behind walls, she rushed onward but soon after she exit, before closing the door, Sayori came rushing. "Uh! Excuse me! Is there a chance you could still let me in, I need to get something from the store..." Sayori called out, but the girl seemed to be a bit worried. "Uh... we're sorry... but... the shop's about to close... I've already dressed up!" The seller said, trying her best to stay away, but then, Codey quietly dropped down. "Yeah! But you haven't closed the door yet, they are still opened." Codey then began slowly working his way towards the door. "We're sorry! Next time, just come back sooner!" Codey finally entered and hid behind the door. Seller quickly turned around and saw nobody. "Uh! Alright then! I'll come back tomorrow... thank you still!" Sayori spoke very polite and allowed the girl to close the door. "Yes! No problem!" The seller locked the door but then, when she passed by Sayori, our girl quickly reached for the girl's pocket and stole the keys, without the girl realizing. ("I'm never doing that again...") Sayori waited for the seller to leave and then moved towards the door, she felt some drops. "Hey! What the hell is going in there!?" As she called, Codey seemed to have had trouble seeing. "Sorry, calm down! Just misstepping! I'll go check the storage room now!" But then, Sayori raised her hand. "You might wanna take this!" As Codey began being embarrassed after seeing the held keys, the door opened and Sayori reached in with her hand. "I'll come with, what were you thinking, you cannot enter the storage area without damn keys." Codey looked at the wiggly keys and became unamused. "...Yes... right, fine, let's hurry..." Thankfully, because they came entering from the door the alarm was not set off. The two of them lucked over in front of the storage as it was blocked. "Why the hell would she want to block this area... she isn't the only worker here.... so how do none of them cared to look into it..." Codey grabbed the edge of the blockade and then moved it aside. Sayori moved past his shoulder kind of cutely. "Ooh! It might be a proper plaza behind there!" But Codey faced at her in unamusement. "Your jokes suck..." Codey finally pushed the blockade completely by and reached for the keys, unlocking the storage area and then raising up the door. "So, how long until something jumps at us." The storage was in complete darkness. "It's freaking pitch black! Do they even have light source for this room?!" But Sayori answered to Codey's words. "I think it should, how else would they see inside when the night falls?" But then Codey began saying stuff. "Lighter, torch, a mirror light, a ray lig~" But having enough, Sayori shut him down. "Did not ask you to beging counting them..." Finally the two of them entered the door and tried to look around, weird noises were also being heard. Sayori reached for the wall when the lights turned on, Codey squeeked and jumped for the scare and faced at Sayori who was looking at him unamusingly. "You really jumped to that...?" But before looking at Codey, she noticed several conducted stuff. "Well... to be honest, it looks like a perfectly fine storage room, normal and~" But then Codey noticed something in the distance and his senses begun ranting out. "Wait, something is near..." Both of them faced once seeing a Demon walking toward them, it seemed to be a crawler as well. "It's a Demon! How has he not eat anybody! We gotta get rid of it before it kills those people!" But then, when Codey summoned his Ginken, something went jumping behind him and smashed him at the floor, it was the same girl, a seller that just left the shop. Sayori kicked at her, but the girl, disappeared and made them shocked. "Vanishing Dash?!?" Sayori backed away when seeing the girl standing on the ceeling, looking down at them, Codey stood up. "What the hell are you?!" But no answers, the girl began saying. "You bastards! I knew something was going on with you! You think you can just come here and dig around the store! You'll pay with regretting!" The girl now had, blood red eyes, a harder skin and her black hair were spread in waveful air.
