Michael p.o.v
I slowly open my eyes as my head is throbbing in pain like if a truck hit me hard. I look around to see I was alone in my bed. I look to my right to see a bag of my medicine that was going through an IV that was on my arm. I immediately pull it off as an alarm goes off and I cover my ears to block the noise. I see where the noise was coming from and I break it as my door open to reveal my father looking worried. He see that I took of the needle and he rush to my side."Why did you took it off, you need it." He grab the needle as I he was going to inject it again, but I push him away and break the needle."I am feeling just fine before Ace came into MY ROOM!" I can see fear run through his eyes as I see that I had my hand on his neck.
I instantly pull my hand away as I get up and walk away from him to calm down myself."I am sorry....I was finally been able to feel something and control myself, but when I saw Ace....I completely lost control. I have been trying to control my emotions without the medicine and I was going well. I went to mission without any problem and I was finally feeling happy." I smile as I say that and look at my father. He had a small smile as he sighs."I understand... I am just trying to look after you and you don't scare me like that again." He walks up to me and hugs me that look me from surprise. I never seen him this vulnerable at all since he became my father and he never showed any weakness at all. I slowly hug him back as he kisses the top of my head."I love you Michael and I would do anything to protect you and my new grandson." I smile as he lets go and sighs."Pack some clothes for you, Ana and Alexis. We have a meeting at base 200 and looks like we will arrive late at the place so we will stay at Adam's house for the night and in the morning we will head to the base." I nod and I noticed some boxes in the corner of the room."Oh that is some things that you order yesterday for Alexis. They came in this morning while you were out for two hours." I nod as he leaves and I check each boxes to see all the things came in on time. I take our some clothes for him and include few shoes as well and pack them into a small suitcase for him.
The door opens to reveal Alexis at the door way and with a sad look. I open my arms as I crouch down and he rushes into them. He cries softly as I rub him back to calm down and I look at him."Hey buddy, it's okay....I am okay now." He nods as he wiped the tears away. "Oh thank goodness you are okay." I look to see Ana as she rushes to me and hugs me tight. "I was so worried! don't scare us like that again." I chuckle as she looks at me and kisses me. I and taken by surprise before I calm down and go with it, but I don't feel anything. she pulls away as I stand up and continue to pack."Alexis, can you go and play with the twins while I talk to Michael?" He nods to Ana as he grabs his toys and leaves the room. It stays silent as I continue to pack everything while she helped.
"Are you okay? you seem distance?" I nod as I close my suitcase and Alexis as well."The medicine is already kicking in and it is bothering me so much." She sighs as she gives me a hug. I hug her back before I let her go to finish packing. Once we finished, we head downstairs to see Alexis playing with the twins before he see the suitcase."Are you leaving?" He looked sad as he said that and I walk up to him and crouch down."We are going out for a few days. I want to ask you something." I take his small hand as I look at him serious."Do you want to go home or do you want to stay here and become my son?" His eyes widen as he thinks about it for a few minutes before he smiles."I want to stay." He hugs me as I laugh and pick him up. I spin him as he starts to laugh in excitement."I will take care of you and I will love you like if you were my own child." I put him down as a servant walk up to us to let us know the jet was ready.
We say our goodbyes and we head to the jet since it was getting late. A servant take our suitcase while we sat down for the jet to take off. Once it did, I grabbed a tablet with some headphones and put it on Alexis as I put him some movies to distract him from the long flight. I spend most of the time talking with my father about what we will do with Alexis and the future that awaits for him as well.
I check the time to see it was 11:45 on and I see Alexis was trying to stay awake. I took the tablet and headphones away as he looked at he tiredly."Its time for bed." he nods as I pick him up and he lays his head on my shoulder. I walk into a small room for him as I grab his suitcase and take out a onesie of trucks for him. I help him put it on and brush his teeth before I tuck him into bed. He stays awake for a bit until he falls into deep sleep. I turn off the light and close the door as I am left on the hallway.
I started to walk back to the seats before I was pulled into the restroom and the door was shut closed. Ana stood in front of me as she kisses me out of nowhere. I don't pull away as I go along until she start to put her hand under my shirt which stopped me immediately."Ana, not now and not here....this is not the time." I was out of breath as she smirk and started to rub the mark on my neck."I can feel your emotions and my guess the medicine is wearing off already." I closed my eyes as it was making me moody and I try to resist myself."Ana...stop.... I won't be able to control..... myself." I grip her waist as I try to stop myself, but my dragon was killing me from the inside. She place her face to my mark as she kissed it until she nibble it and soon my dragon took over me.
I wake up from been moved hard as I open my eyes to see if as in bed. I look to my left to see Ana sound asleep and I read the clock to see it was 2 am. I check the window to see we were landing already. I get up and change back into my clothes that were on the floor as I walk up Ana. She opens her eyes as she me changed already."We have landed already. Get dressed." I leave the room as I check on Alexis to see he was still asleep. I found my father already up and grabbing the suitcase. I careful pick up Alexis as I cover him with a blanket and I exit the jet. I see Adam wait by him a car as his servants took out suitcases. Ana is right behind me as Adam check out Alexis."Oh he is a cutie! Come on, it's late and I think everyone needs to sleep." We pile into his car as it take off back to his house. Alexis was still asleep as rocked him and Adam stared at him."I am surprised when I heard about his child....I never expected for you to take him under your wing Michael."
I smile as I look at him."He is someone that doesn't have anyone and I see a great person in him. I want to give him the best that I didn't have at all." Adam nods as I see we pulled up at his mansion. We get off and head inside as he give us our room and we all head to bed.
Morning
I slowly open my eyes as someone was sitting on top of me. I look to see Alexis smiling since he was on top of me."Morning mother!" I looked at him surprised as he gets off and runs out of the room."Wait Alexis!" I put on my sweat as I take off with my jacket in hand as I chase him. he giggles as he runs pass servants on the hallway and to the stairs. He jumps off the staircase as I panic and out of no where small wings appear on his back as he lands safely on the ground, before he continue to run. I jump off and land on my feet until I arrive at the dinner table to see Alexis on my father's lap. My father looks at me smiling and Adam stared at me. I see that wasn't wearing a shirt so I put on quickly my jacket."Adam, get you eyes off my daughter." Adam looks away as my father puts down Alexis and tells him a plan to wake up Ana. He leave running immediately as I stare at my father."You got to be kidding me! what did you gave him that he is so energetic?" He pulls out a bag of gummy worms covered in sugar. I rub my face as I see a glass of scotch and I take it. My father looks at me with a serious face as I sigh."I need something strong since I am tired."
I put the glass down and as I go to take a step, I suddenly feel light-headed and pain on the side of my stomach. Adam catches me first before I fall to the ground."Whoa Michael! are you okay?" I nod as he helps me sit down in a chair. I lift my jacket to see my left side bruised and blood was coming out."What happened? is it Ana?" Ana walk into the room and Alexis in her arms."What is wrong?" They look at Ana since she was okay. Adam helps me up and take me into a medical bay as his doctors start to help me. I start to get hot that I push away every doctor and rip my jacket to see my dragons mark a bit red. I realized that it was Daniel and not Ana. They looked at my mark as they see the red in it and they look at me confused.
"This is not Ana.....it is her mate! she know him and they were connected somehow!" I get more in pain as I fall to my knee and my father tries to get to me, but I put my hand out."No, don't get close.....I got THIS.....I need to go outside." I get up slowly as I stumble out of the room and head outside. I look up at the sky and close my eyes and focus my mind to connect to Daniel."Daniel....can you hear me?" I wait for a response or a feeling until I feel someone in my mind."Actually I can hear you Michael." I smile as I hear Axel voice in my head.i hear wings flapping as I see Axel lowering down with Daniel in his arms. "I make my was towards them and I put Daniel into my arms. He had a wound on his left side and a huge cut on his leg."What happened to Daniel?"
He tries to catch his breath before he talks."Our hidout was attacked and they found Daniel. they brocked the crystal and Daniel was furious. We try to get them away from the island, but they were stronger then us. When Daniel got hurt, I activated your mark with him so hopefully he was able to guide me where you were since we didn't find you at the house." He smiles until it fades and looks behind me. He growls as he take his sword and stands in front of us. My father was with Adam and Ana as they approached us carefully."Michael....who is this?" I lay down Daniel as I stand up quickly."I will tell you later, but I need you guys to help him, he is bleeding out fast." They looked at each other and quickly approached Daniel as I signal Axel to stand down.
They get into the medical bay while we wait outside of the room. Axel heals me while Ana stare at us since he had his hand on me."Ana, it okay....This is Axel.... Daniel's guardian. the man in the bay is Daniel.....my mate." I looked at her as she pieces everything together. I move away from Axel as I walk up to her and place my hands on her cheeks. "Hey, just because he is here, doesn't mean I am going to reject you right now." She nods as I hug her tight. She hugs me back as Adam walks out and we pull away."The guy is awake and loosing control." I follow him as I can hear some yelling in the room. We walk in and see Daniel pushes some men away from him until his eyes land on me. I rush his side as I take his hands."Michael, what is going on? where am I?" I look at everyone since they were on the edge."Everyone get out except Ana, NOW!" They all leave while Ana stays in the room and Daniel calms down.
"Babe, what is going on? Did Axel brought me here?" I nod as he layed back down."He brought you here since the island was attacked and you got badly injured." He sighs as his eyes land on Ana. She immediately looks nervous as I extended my hand out to her. She walks up to me and takes my hand."Daniel, this is Ana...my choice mate."Daniel stares at Ana and back to me."Looks like you choose correctly Michael I am impressed, but I am way more better." I smile as Ana let's out a relief breath. Daniel sits up and gets off the bed. I help him get in his feet as he extends his hand out to her."I hope we are on a good side. I expect you take care of her for me while I am gone." Ana shakes it and smiles at me."I am going to let you guys talk." She kisses my cheek before she leaves the room.
Once she closed it, Daniel smashed his lip into mine as he pushes me to the wall. The kisses were heated as his hand were on my bare back."You have no idea what is runnimg through my mind right now...I just want you and no one else." He kisses my neck and goes all the way to my shoulder until I can feel his canines. I pull him away as I look at him and he was really heated up."You can't mark me since I am marked right now." He whines as I nibble on his nevk which calms him down."But you are not so I can." My canines comes out and I bite down on his shoulder marking him. He holds my arms as we fall to our knees since he was in pain. I let go as I lip the blood away and I kiss it. He smiles as he looks at me."Not fair at all, but I will accept it this time." I smirk as I help him up to his feet.
I can see his dragon mark glowing and I see black and gold line forming around it. I find him a shirt and help him put it on and we leave the room to head to my room. Alexis was on the floor playing with some toys when he see me and Daniel walking in. He stand up and stares at Daniel while I pick him up."Alexis....meet Daniel...my mate. Daniel this is Alexis...our adopted son, well I am going to do the paperwork today to make it official." Daniel nods as he extends his hand to Alexis."It is very nice to meet you." Alexis looks at me with a look of if he can trust him and I nod at him. Alexis pushes himself from me as he land into Daniel's arms. he wraps his small around around him neck and holds him tight like the first time he did that to me. it looks like he is trying to connect with Daniel by physical touch.
Daniel pats his back and Alexis let's him go as Daniel places him back to the ground."Well, me and Alexis need to get ready since we are heading to his base so I need for you to leave the room for a bit." He nods and leaves as Ana walks in and closes the door. We all change into our uniforms and Ana helps Alexis change into his and he was looking cute. He had on a long black sleeve shirt with golden scales on the sleeves, small military pants and small combat boots. He was like a mini me and Ana told him to show Ivan how he looks liked. Alexis took off and left the room and Ana closed it. Ana helps me change since my side was still in pain and then we head downstairs to see everyone there ready to go. Daniel stares at me since this was the first times he see me fully in the suit. I nod to my father as a signal him that I was ready. We all walk out to the front of the house as I see a huge car pulling up. It stop and guards open the door as I help Alexis into the car.
Ana and Ivan jumps in and the car takes off in a hurry. The while car ride is in silence as I stare out of the window looking out at the street while Alexis sat beside me holding my hand. After a few minutes, we arrive at the base and Alexis holds my hand a bit tight. I sign as we get off and hand him to Ana. He is in Ana's arms as he looked at me confused."I have to show respect and leadership so I want you to be with Ana, but I will be close to you." He nods as I put on my mask, guards open the door of the base and we all walk in. I can feel the tense in the air as we walk through the hallways the leads us to the main room of the base. People were walking until they stop and look at me.
We continue to walk as they moved to make a path for us and some bow to me in show of respect. We arrive at the office and I look at Ana. "Take the child somewhere else while I deal with the business." She nods and take Alexis away with two personal guards with her. Me and Ivan walk into the room and Matthew who that was in charge was sitting down. Ivan sits down while I stand in the side just looking at the Matthew."What I heard was that the black dragon wanted to adopt a child from this base. I know that you have your mate, but do you really want to adopt him? there is other children that you could look at." I quickly grab the back of his head and slam I to the desk, but not too hard so I don't knock him out. He goes way back in his chair as he rubbed his forehead while I stand in the side again.
"Let him be Dragon, she wants to adopt him and we want the paper for his custody. We know he has no family member so she would be happy to take him under her wing." Matthew nods as he grabs a tissue to clean off the blood on his forehead."Well, that is true, Alexis has no family since they were Operatives...I will get the paper and come back." He gets up and leaves quickly while Ivan looks at me."He didn't mean to offend you Michael. breath and calm down....I know you are inpatient." I nod as I take deeps breaths and wait for Matthew to return. I just hope everything is going well with Ana and Alexis.
Ana p.o.v
Me and Alexis were at a small playground that was in the main room for him to play while we waited for Michael. The two guards were on stand by as they watch me and Alexis for security. Alexis was playing with other kids as I see a group of guys looking at me and then to Alexis. I get on alert as they slowly started to approach me, I signal the guards to stand down since I could take care of this. there was four of them as two stand behind me while the other two stand in front of me."What is a lady like you doing here all alone?" I sigh as I sit back."I was just enjoy eating my son play until you guys interrupted me." The guy smirks as one from the back lays his hand on my should, but I smacked it away."Ohhh, looks like we have a brave one, I like it." The two from the back grab to hold me, but I pull away and signal the guard to get Michael.
I push the two guys away, but one grabs me from behind and pulls me away, but I grab his head and flip him to the floor. One takes out a knife and swings at me, but I move quick to avoid it until I feel something hit my right shoulder. Everyone screams and runs away as they were all afraid while Alexis rushes to my side. I push him out of the way as another one comes with a sword. I roll as I hiss in pain and one guy kick me with his knee. I pull away as I stand up but one swings his sword and it get me right on the stomach.
I fall to my knees as blood run down my stomach, right shoulder and my cheek. one guy grabs me as he pulls me closer to him."Any last words?" I see black boots behind him as I recognize them and I smirk."I do." The guy turns around and a sword goes through is stomach and it is pulled away. Michael stand their until she started to attack the other three. She finishes them quickly killing them right on the spot as everyone was shocked and scared. Michael looks at everyone as she points her sword to a guy."ANYONE THAT MESSED WITH HER OR MY SON...WILL PAY WITH THEIR LIFE!" Her face was a bit covered in blood as she puts her sword away and picks me up in her arms. a guard picks up Alexis as we all walk away and head to a medical bay.

When a guard told me that four guys attacked Ana, I was so angry that I knew they weren't going to come out alive from this. we reach the med bay and I lay Ana on a bed as a doctor starts to check her out to see if anything was wrong. The guard hand me Alexis as he wraps his small around around my neck and was a bit shaking. I rub his back as he looks at me and rubs my face. his hand were covered in blood and I I grab a small tissue to clean it up. He grab it and start to slowly clean my face as I sat down. "Well it looks like she will heal perfect. since she is your mate, you are helping her better then if she wasn't." I thank the doctor as he checks on other people. Ivan walk in and see us that he signs in relief."Thank God you guys are okay, Michael....what the hell were you think of killing those four men?"
I put Alexis down as he walk to Ana snd we head out of the room."They needed a lesson and they messed with the wrong person so that is what they got." Ivan rubs his face as he looks at me seriously."Okay....there is something else, the council found out about Alexis and they want to meet with you today at night. Adam will come and pick you up while I take Ana and Alexis back to the house." I nod on the process as I sigh. The council knows everything and it was just a matter of time before they find out.
What do they want now?
