"Can you sacrifice your lover for your family's safety, Captain Joe?" Mr. Blue asked Captain Joe. They were resting in the garden of the Palace.
Captain looked at him confused. Mr. Blue doesn't have a family so he was confused why he asked that.
"What do you mean?" Captain Joe asked after he put down his teacup that Lady Jessa served to them earlier.
"Are you willing to abandon your lover for your family?" Mr. Blue asked again.
"What kind of question is that?" Captain Joe answered back. Mr. Blue remained to stare at his tea before he slowly nodded.
"Do you have a lover, Captain?" He asked. Captain Joe's lips parted like he wanted to say something but he was also taken aback by the question that he only managed to give Mr. Blue gave an awkward smile and then took a sip of his tea again.
"Sort of, I think?" Captain Joe answered a little uncomfortably and bitterly. "She still has... someone else in her heart, Mr. Blue."
