Mark was the first one to withdraw his hand while Lanie's hand remained hanging in the air. She blinked many times before she slowly put down her hand as she closed her fist like her hand was still longing for his hand.
"Then, I'll go now." Mark said before he excused himself. That was the only time Lanie realized what she said. She turned around to see him once again. She even heard Tyler sighed and she felt his stares at her. She thought Mark noticed what she said but he just shrugged it off. He may be thinking that Lanie saw him somewhere and he was unaware of that because for him, this was the first time he saw her and knew her.
"Let's go?" Tyler softly said to her as he moved his hand resting from her waist to her elbow then from her hand and intertwined it. Lanie let Tyler pull her as they walked to the elevator. The employees were looking at them and chattering started to spread. They ignored them like they were used to it and just entered the elevator.
