"That massacre…" Jake suddenly trailed off. Kevin turned to him. Jake was looking at the bonfire, his hands were holding the can of beer while his elbows were placed on his thighs. "I felt bad about it. I mean, I know others maybe also felt that but mine was different. I felt bad to the point that I felt like I was the one who was responsible for that…. And I don't know why. Maybe, my sympathy was that much." He emptied his beer and got another again. Kevin sighed as he rested her back on the camping chair and looked at the night sky.
"We sometimes felt that. We felt great sympathy for others. We felt bad for others. And sometimes, we felt that we were really responsible for the misfortune that was happening to them. Maybe because we think that we didn't even do anything to help them or maybe because we were really guilty." he said before he let out another heavy sigh.
