Lanie turned back and looked on her right side. She saw Tyler and Kieffer standing under the tree not so far away from her.
She sighed. "The end is coming, Althea." She said as she looked at the tombstone. "Wish us luck up there together with your mom and Patrick." she continued.
She turned around once again when she felt someone approaching her. Then, she saw Jake. Her brows furrowed. Why is he here? He should have stayed at home. Since Lanie helped him recover fast, he was discharged in just 2 days which the doctor says that it was a miracle because they assumed that he would be staying at the hospital for months to have a better recovery.
"What are you doing here?" she asked. Jake put the flower he brought beside the tombstone.
