When they arrived at her apartment, Jake looked at the whole apartment. This was his first time going to Lanie's apartment. He also noticed the folded blanket and pillow on the sofa. His brows furrowed because he thought Lanie was in her work overnight.
Meanwhile, Lanie went to her room to wash up. After that, she got her sling bag and transferred some things she might need when she went outside with Jake. She knew him. He always had unexpected plans. When she was with him before, when they were going on a date, he always had unexpected rendezvous which was one of the things she liked about him.
"I'm done. Let's go?" she said after she went out to her room. Jake looked at her direction with his curious face, then he pointed to the sofa.
