It was a wonderful day. The sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky, the birds were chirping merrily as they fluttered their wings, flying here and there in the sky in groups and the cheerful and busy streets of tokyo was enveloped in a warm morning light.
It was yet another start of a new day.
...And also the end of her whole life.
At 8 am in the morning, the fast paced city's streets were packed with vehicles, the sky trains zoomed past the winding trails in high speed and people busied themselves in their respective daily works.
It was the sight of a prospering city.
But Shizuki didn't feel any delight as she watched the busy streets in front of her. She had never been one who liked crowds filled with strangers nor did she like the fast paced world she lived in.
To an orphan like her who only had herself to depend on, it felt like she was racing against a fast bullet train, which was the rest of the world, while she was only a normal human with no power. No matter how much she tried to catch up, it would all be in vain. The competitiveness might be good for the development of the country, or even the entire humankind but it was nothing but torture to people like her, who were probably ranked at the bottom.
She had long stopped lamenting about not having a family who could help her share the burden since the day she saw the filthy side of the society. She learned how a person's worth was very cheap in the eyes of others. The current world was very prosperous and beautiful, but so what? The price the humankind had to pay in exchange was their humanity itself. It was an irrefutable fact.
Shaking her head to get these thoughts off her head, Shizuki continued walking towards the crosswalk as she glanced at the traffic light. It was currently showing a green light for pedestrians thus she unhurriedly crossed the road. There were many others crossing the road, their feets moving fast with their eyes either on their watches or mobile phones.
Shizuki casually glanced past them and kept her eyes in the front as she walked with an uninterested look on her face.
Just when she got to the other side of the road, a child around 5 years old got lost in the crowd of pedestrians and stumbled on the road after getting accidentally pushed by the crowd as he landed in middle of the empty crosswalk. Before anyone could react, the traffic lights turned red and the vehicles started moving as honks sounded from time to time.
The child was too small and stood there frightened with tears falling down his eyes, calling for his mother softly but the child's mother seemed to not have noticed her child's disappearance. Although the other vehicles passed by the little boy without any accidents, a large truck suddenly charged towards the boy without stopping.
That was what Shizuki saw when she glanced back at the road, her eyes widened in shock. Before her brain could even process the situation, her body moved by itself as she abruptly rushed towards the boy after dropping her handbag on the ground.
Loud and soft gasps of spectating people as well as the disorderly sounds of honks sounded right after seeing her suddenly jump into the middle of the busy road. They had yet to understand why she suddenly lost her mind enough to rush towards the road when the loud honking of the large truck suddenly rang as the driver finally noticed her and the boy, albeit too late.
Shizuki wrapped her arms around the little boy, shielding the small figure completely with her own body as her back faced the incoming truck, finally getting back to her senses. But it was too late for her to react to it, the truck couldn't slow down its speed because of the close proximity even after noticing her actions.
At the moment of her death, she only felt it was a pity that her life was about to end here. But she didn't regret her unconscious actions. As for regrets...
'Damn, to think that I would die before I could witness Luffy becoming the pirate king, my Zoro becoming the strongest swordsman, Deku becoming the no.1 hero and ending up with Shot-I mean Uraraka and my several unfinished list of many upcoming animes!'
At the moment of her death, many silly thoughts passed through her mind as the images of her past flashed in front of her eyes in reverse; her past struggles in the society, the greedy looks in her relatives eyes, her start of despair, her parents death, and the blurry images of her father and mother.
Even though she acted indifferently as if she didn't care about the past anymore, her heart still showed her honest feelings right before her death.
Closing her eyes, she held the child in her arms tightly.
At least, she did a good deed before her death. So maybe she might go to heaven. Even if it's hell, it didn't matter anymore. Anywhere was fine...
Maybe, she could even reunite with her parents in the afterlife.
'If...there is an afterlife, I wish to live leisurely. With no more pressure, no more struggles and no more races with time. Just a peaceful and simple life is enough.' With that wish in her heart, the truck collided violently with her small body, leaving a long trail of blood on the road, reaping her life without even giving her the time to feel the pain.

'Hot....it's painful.' That was her first thought when Shizuki started to slowly regain her consciousness.
It felt as if a hot layer of blanket was wrapped around her body but it also felt sticky all over and the constant pressure coming from outside the 'layer' made her feel slight pain as her body seemed to be getting sucked towards a narrow passage which further intensified the pain she felt.
Her consciousness also kept on drifting between becoming slightly sober to numb from the pain. After a few minutes which seemed like hours to her, she finally got out of the narrow 'passage' with difficulty then finally felt her body become lighter before she was suddenly lifted up by someone.
Finally becoming completely sober, she opened her eyes into a tiny slit, squinting immediately at the sudden bright light. After adjusting to the light, her sight blurred for a while before becoming clearer.
With that one look, she was almost scared to death!
'What the f*ck!? Who is this giant?!' Shizuki cursed inside her head, her heart nearly bursting out of her chest from the fright and panic.
A giant, old lady was looking at her with a bright smile on her face as she rubbed her with a big, white cloth with some red stains on it...
'Wait, is that blood stains?!'
Who the f*ck wouldn't be scared sh*tless when they suddenly see such a frightening scene right after opening their eyes?!
'What's happening? Is that a freaking titan? Right, she died. Could it be, she actually got isekaid in the world of 'Attack on titans'?! Oh my god, so am I going to die again right after dying just before? And even in such a gruesome way of getting eaten by an...old, smiley-faced titan...F*ck it, where is Eren, Mikasa? Anyone?! Save meeee!'
While Shizuki's mind was in a turmoil, the so-called old, smiley-faced titan finished rubbing her clean then moved towards the bed after wrapping her in a clean cloth securely.
On the bed, a frail-looking woman was lying with clear exhaustion shown on her face dripping in cold sweat. Although her face was frighteningly pale, it still couldn't hide her astonishing beauty. She was currently resting with her eyes closed after going through a hard labour.
At the side of the bed, a handsome man sat on a chair with his hands wrapped around her left hand. His cold face revealing obvious signs of concern towards the frail woman.
"You have done well enduring it, Vio." He said in a gentle voice, his eyes overflowing with tenderness and love.
The woman lying on the bed heard him and opened her eyes, revealing a pair of dazzling ruby coloured eyes. Even though she was very exhausted, she still curved her lips into a gentle smile, her eyes filled with tears threatening to fall any time. It wasn't the tears of having to endure so much pain but from pure happiness.
The mid-wife carrying Shizuki in her arms walked towards the beautiful couple saying, "Lord duke, duchess, it is a beautiful little baby girl! Congratulations!"
When the couple heard that, they immediately looked towards the mid-wife. The woman quickly tried to get up from the bed, her eyes filled with deep fondness as she fixedly looked at the baby wrapped in cloth. She was helped to sit up on the bed with her back resting on the headboard gently by her husband, who was similarly feeling as impatient as her to hold his child.
The mid-wife carefully handed the baby to the woman, finally letting Shizuki to see a stunningly beautiful face which sent her into a daze for a while.
'What the hell? How come there is such a beautiful titan? This is cheating! If titans were to really be so beautiful then who knows how many men would willingly let themselves get eaten by them?' Shizuki lamented in her heart after getting out of her daze.
The 'titan' had a head full of frost-white hair, a pair of captivating ruby-red eyes and snow-white skin which looked slightly pale with exhaustion written all over her face.
Shizuki again fell into a state of confusion.
Was she about to get eaten by this beautiful titan? So the old smiley-faced titan was only preparing the 'meal' for this beautiful titan? Then the thing wrapped around her must be like toasts wrapping around a piece of meat and the red blood stains must be ketchup to them? But maybe getting eaten by such a beautiful titan wasn't so bad....LIKE HELL!
Just thinking about it made her heart shudder in fear.
'The h*ck! I wished for a peaceful life, not to get eaten by a titan! Why is this happening to me?!' Shizuki felt like crying at the thought, the feeling growing stronger as she imagined many bloody ways of her dying in the hands of the titan which made her suddenly burst out in tears.
"Waaa一!"
Just when she opened her mouth to cry, she was instantly shocked by the sound of her own voice. It was like the cry of a small baby. Crisp and loud....
She immediately stopped crying before she could even cry for a whole second, with only her tears falling non-stop from the corner of her eyes.
The couple were also startled by her sudden cry then became dumbfounded when they saw her turning stiff, quietening down abruptly.
The husband and wife exchanged glances with each other, finding their newborn daughter's action very adorable yet confusing.
Shizuki was feeling very complicated at the moment.
Her sudden death, the sight of a giant right after waking up and now her voice which sounded like a small infant's, all these matters made her head throb in pain as she suddenly had a shocking notion.
Could it be...she turned into a baby?!
Then remembering the sticky feeling from before, she vomited rainbows in her mind.
'F*ck this sh*t, I'm out!' (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
