Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: A Steady Appearance of a Veteran, But Having a Flustered Heart.

Young Lady Qingqing… Ying Qingqing? Chen Luoyang recalled that part of "his" life resume.

He gently tapped his finger on the armrest.

Ying Qingqing, a very mysterious young lady…

Before the Demon Cult Master's battle with the Sword Pavilion Lord, he had unintentionally come across a young lady with amnesia.

Although she retained her martial arts and cultivation, she had forgotten her past.

Following the battle, the Demon Sovereign recuperated at this place, and Ying Qingqing was brought to the manor.

Initially, the Demon Sovereign ordered cult members to investigate her background. However, the Demon Cult's information-gathering abilities provided little information on Ying Qingqing, causing suspicion to grow.

Chen Luoyang had a headache. This was the weakness of the life resume. It could not fully reflect interpersonal relationships. He had no idea what kind of dispute this Young Lady Qingqing had with him, the Demon Cult Master.

Amnesia…

In a way, they were both in the same boat.

As Chen Luoyang pondered, the gray-clothed elder spoke hesitantly, "Reporting to Cult Master. This old servant carried out your instructions while you were in seclusion. I have verified again that Young Lady Qingqing… is proficient in the Clear Sky Divine Sword!"

Chen Luoyang's heart tightened. He composed himself and turned to look at the gray-clothed elder, maintaining his usual indifferent expression.

The gray-clothed elder nodded. "Everyone in the Grand Divine Province knows that the Clear Sky Divine Sword is the unique martial art of the Sword Pavilion Lord. Not even his direct disciples have learned it. Moreover, Young Lady Qingqing doesn't seem to recognize the Sword Sovereign. When she didn't reveal her martial arts, the Sword Sovereign didn't pay her any attention either."

Chen Luoyang remained silent. His recuperation required the Clear Sky Divine Sword.

Could it be a coincidence that someone delivered this to him? Was it genuine amnesia or a ruse? Could it be a trap? What was her relationship with the Sword Pavilion Lord?

After careful consideration, Chen Luoyang instructed, "I will have my dinner now. Arrange for her to dine with me."

"Yes, Cult Master." The gray-clothed elder respectfully responded and excused himself.

After the elder left, Chen Luoyang communicated with the mysterious black pot in his mind: Can you tell me relevant information about Ying Qingqing?

The blood-red serum in the black pot suddenly reached the bottom! However, no blood words appeared.

Soon enough, the blood-red serum reappeared in the pot, and the quantity was the same as before he asked the question, neither more nor less.

The serum isn't sufficient? Chen Luoyang was surprised.

Obtaining the information of the original owner used up a lot of serum. Obtaining the formula for the Ten Revolution Primary Elixir used up a fair amount of serum as well. But the remaining blood-red serum seemed to be slightly more than the amount required for the Ten Revolution Primary Elixir's formula.

This meant that… the secret of Ying Qingqing was more valuable than the Ten Revolution Primary Elixir's formula?

After a while, Chen Luoyang mumbled, "This is interesting."

An attractive and delicate flower, but who knew if it was a trap?

His injuries were due to the battle with the Sword Pavilion Lord, and his body still had remnants of the Clear Sky Divine Sword's sword qi, which needed to be neutralized. It could only be neutralized with the help of the same sword qi. If this was an enemy's scheme, he would be in danger.

As Chen Luoyang pondered, he stood up and walked outside.

Chen Luoyang thought to himself, "Someone is likely wondering why I know the Clear Sky Divine Sword and also trying to pursue me." He couldn't help but smirk inwardly.

Ying Qingqing continued, "I want to stand back and observe what's real and what's fake, who's right and who's wrong."

Chen Luoyang also wanted to see if she was genuine. He smiled faintly and said, "Things that appear contradictory can all be real because everyone's perspective on truth, falsehood, right, and wrong is different. Some might call us demons, but our original name is the Ancient Divine Cult. You can learn about it if you wish."

Ying Qingqing was taken aback and fell silent.

Chen Luoyang casually mentioned, "It's already evening; it wouldn't be too late to leave tomorrow."

Ying Qingqing snapped back to reality and nodded. "Alright."

As they ate, Chen Luoyang smiled and said, "I'll send someone to keep an eye out for you. If you don't find the answers you need at the Sword Pavilion, you might learn something new if you come back here."

"Thank you, Cult Master Chen," Ying Qingqing said, standing up and bowing solemnly.

"You don't have to be so formal," Chen Luoyang replied, tapping his chopsticks on the plate's edge. "Aren't you going to eat?"

"Thank you, Cult Master." The young lady sat down again and began eating. The meal was quiet, with Ying Qingqing being naturally reserved and Chen Luoyang afraid of saying something wrong.

After dinner, Ying Qingqing excused herself. Chen Luoyang watched her leave before tapping his jade pendant twice.

A gray-clothed elder quickly appeared and bowed. "Cult Master, what are your orders?"

"Ying Qingqing is leaving tomorrow morning. Follow her secretly and observe her actions and who she contacts," Chen Luoyang instructed calmly. "Pay extra attention to anyone outside of the Sword Pavilion."

The elder respectfully acknowledged the order.

Chen Luoyang then decided to explore the courtyard. He tapped his jade pendant three times, summoning two middle-aged men who kneeled before him.

"Azure Dragon Hall's Azure Dragon 5 greets Cult Master. Long live Cult Master!"

"Azure Dragon Hall's Dragon Claw 11 greets Cult Master. Long live Cult Master!"

Chen Luoyang listened expressionlessly to their code names and learned about the Demon Cult's structure and customs.

He tested the two on their knowledge of the cult's rules and laws, listening carefully and memorizing the information. Both men were nervous throughout the questioning, but Chen Luoyang eventually praised their performance.

"Thank you, Cult Master. We will devote our lives to the Divine Cult!" they replied gratefully.

Inwardly, Chen Luoyang thought, "Ying Qingqing said the Demon Cult is causing trouble. It seems she wasn't wrong."

He then inquired, "How many people in the manor are currently on assignments?"
