The knock caused Noah to jump up out of the bed. He was in someone else's room and he was probably going to get into trouble. He hadn't even thought about that when he entered due to being so intoxicated. The door was white, with small, intricate designs all over. They were carved into the wood, and all ended at the handle, which was long and metal. The house itself was old, so the door matched up with it. He stared across the room at the door for a few seconds, hearing s blurry voice call through the locked door. He tried calming himself by running a hand through his hair, and then he began to walk over to the door, and with a soft sigh, he opened it. He didn't open the door too fast, unlocking it cautiously, just slowly pulling the handle down, tugging at the door and watching it open. "Hello.. I'm sorry if I'm in your room, I just needed somewhere to stay that was quiet." Noah said kindly.
His eyes slowly examined a familiar body before looking up into the others eyes as they stared into his. Their face was covered with a mask, but their beautiful hazel eyes staring down at the other. The other slowly removed the beautiful mask which covered their face before Noah paused, removing his own. A sharp pain ran to his heart before he bit to his lip, the other male looking equally as shocked and sad. "I-I'm sorry.. I can uh..-" Noah began before the other forced himself into the room, closing the door behind him. "I missed you." The other male spoke softly, keeping his eyes on a drunken Noah that looked as if he was about to cry. "You're the one who left.. now I should go." He said once more, feeling a hand grab his wrist. "Tye, let go of me! You left, god damnit!" He tried pulling away only to find himself being held close to the others chest, right in his arms.
Noah was speechless, staring up at the other with glassy eyes, that had already began to well with tears. Tye looked even more sad, wiping the others eyes. "Shh.. don't cry.." Tye spoke in a warm tone. His voice was always soft, it could comfort anyone it needed to. Noah just sighed, words still not able to escape his mouth out of shock. Tye placed a gentle hand on the others jaw, staring right in his eyes as Noah just nodded, more tears falling down his face, which was now red from frustration. Their lips slowly moved together until they were both in a soft embrace. This went on for a little too long, just simply kissing in silence, something they both wanted for a while, and they were both so drunk that their thoughts were a mess and they couldn't control themselves anymore. Keeping back their feelings was nearly impossible when they could barely think straight, let alone when they've both had these feelings hidden away for way too long.
The soft kisses turned into a bit more intense embrace, Tye picking up the other, smaller male and holding him in place. His hands were tight around the others waist, Noah's legs tight around Tye's waist, holding onto him as if getting down was the last thing he wanted to do. It WAS the last thing he wanted to do. "T-Tye I don't think.." Noah began before being pressed up against the door, their kiss getting more intense as it went on. They pulled their lips away as they both desperately gasped for air, panting against each other. The room was dim and warm, sweating against each other like they needed to be as close as they could to each other. No words were being said as they just panted against each other, Tye's lips giving soft kisses to the males shoulders to calm him down. "Steady breaths." Tye whispered to the other, which sent a calm sensation through Noah's spine. Noah's eyes closed shut, seeming that all his problems were going to slowly fade away, because right now, this was the only thing that mattered.
It was all a blur after that. They both woke up the next day with pounding heads and faint remembrance of the prior night. Tye had stayed the night at the party owners house, where as Noah somehow stumbled out to his friends who brought him to the lake, and laid him to bed as he was already passed out. The lake house was the place he needed to escape for the weekend. He could write, go swimming, and try his hardest to erase that from his mind, which he knew would be almost impossible. How would you erase that from your mind? Kissing the guy you've missed and been in love with for as long as you could remember? The same guy who you thought was a straight homophobic type of guy? He never knew Tye was into kissing guys, but then again what if it was because he was just drunk. Then again, what if that wasn't the case. What if, what if, what if. His thoughts went on for what seemed like an eternity, pacing back and forth while his head only felt worse. What was he supposed to do? Who was he supposed to tell? He was unsure of so much but for some reason he felt so much better than he did before that night. He didn't know why, at all, but maybe this meant that there was a way to get Tye to come back to them all. Maybe there was hope to have his best friend back. Maybe they'd end up being more than friends. "No, no, Noah. Don't go getting your hopes up again. It was a kiss, one kiss.. one.. long kiss."
He eventually was able to stumble out of the room, making his way to the kitchen where a note, a glass of water, and headache meds were all laid out for him. He didn't have his glasses on him, so it was hard to read because he truly was as blind as a bat, but once he held it close to his face, he read: "Noah, since you're the only one who got that toasted and seemed upset last night, we went out to the beach to get some tanning done, and so you could rest. Take the meds and make sure to stay hydrated. xx Francesca." He placed the note down while immediately gulping down the pills with water. He wiped off his mouth, walking over to the counter to sit at it. He felt disgusted of himself, and he didn't know how to tell his friends, which he knew would be furious with him. How do you tell your friends you kissed your enemy and enjoyed it more than almost anything you've done in a long time? That seemed impossible to him. What if he lost his friends? He didn't want that to happen. He didn't kiss Tye just to hurt the others. It made him happy though, it made him so happy, the happiest in the world even! It was meant to be, this was who he loved all along and needed to be with! Well, that's what he thought. His friends weren't gonna be so cheery about it. The only bright side to his hangover was the fact that they would be gone so he could devise a plan to tell them.
