(School rooftop)
(Kai fell to his knees, his shirt drenched in blood. Tears rolled down his cheeks and he held a little girl with an open wound on her stomach in his arms)
Kai: Why Agame! Why? (He screamed and felt a hand land on his shoulder lightly. He turned to look behind him and a punch landed on his left cheek sending him flying to a corner of the roof top and dropping the girl's lifeless body carelessly on the hard concrete roof.)
Kai (In voice over): Then I realized they're all monsters.
(12 hours before Agame's death)
(Kai's laptop beeps several times as soon as he walks out of the bathroom, and rubs his damp hair with a towel. He wore a black t-shirt and black shorts)
Kai: I wonder what notifications I have this time.
(He settles down on the desk where his laptop kept beeping)
Kai: let's see. (He scrolled down through all the chaos notifications and messages when an ad pops up)
Are you Kai Hoshigaki?

Kai: Strange? (He takes the mouse pointer and clicks yes then another message pops up)

(He clicks yes and another message pops up)

Kai: (he grins hard and clicks yes) There's no way I'm backing down from a challenge. (His laptop dings and a message pops up)
Great! Your game starts now.
(his laptop suddenly shuts down, he clicks furiously on the power button but it doesn't work)
Kai: No! Not now, dammit! (He shuts the laptop furiously and leans back against the chair) Well there goes my game.
(Riyugi high)
(Students move around school as Kai stepped into the hallways, headphones on, hands in his pocket and he walked towards his class, his headphones hung around his neck now, when he heard a the radio from the principal's office broadcast news)
Radio (Newscaster 1): several missing and more found dead could this really be the end days as rumors say?
Radio (Newscaster 2): That's silly, you really believe the end is drawing closer?
Radio (Newscaster 1): Just saying these deaths and missing people's notice have been increasing vastly, the numbers have been increasing every week that passes by.
Radio (Newscaster): troubling times were in now.
(He felt a hand tug the sleeves of his uniform and he looks down and sees a childlike figure wearing a cloak and the face is completely black below him, holding an envelope to him.)
Strange child: Kai Hoshigaki, your first mission starts now. (the child's voice sounded like static)
Kai: Mission? (He takes the envelope and feels something inside, he opens the envelope and sees a circular object with weird numbers moving at random around what seems to be it's screen and a letter.) What?... (The child-like person is no longer standing there.) Where did that person go? (The bell rang for first period)
(After School)
(Roof top)
(Kai looks at the envelope and takes out the letter and circular object.)
Strange child: Your first mission starts now!
Kai: I wonder what that was about. (He opens the letter and reads what's written on it. His eyes open wide as he read it out loud) KILL MR. KANKURO! (The threw the letter and envelope and they slowly landed on the concrete roof but still holding the circular object) What the hell is this? Mr Kankuro is my history teacher! This has to be some prank.
Agame: big brother! (a little girl hugs him from behind and he drops the circular object startled by her)
Kai: Agame, you scared me, (He pats her head and she walks to the object on the ground and picks it)
Agame: What is this? (She asks inspecting it)
Kai: It's nothing.
Agame: can I keep it?
Kai: sure, it's just a piece of trash anyways. Hey, why are you up here?
Agame: I thought I'd come see you today before heading home big brother!
Kai: how did you know I'd be here?
Agame: (She pulls out a string from her bag and puts string in a small hole on the circular object making a necklace and she puts it around her neck) You always come here big brother.
Kai: Are you stalking me now? (He laughs and ruffles her hair)
Agame: big brother! (She pulls away from his hold on her head)
Kai: it looks good on you. (He points to the necklace she made out of the circular object)
Agame: Um. Really?
Kai: sure. Want to walk home together?
Agame: carry me?
Kai: Sure, just this time okay. (He crouches over for her to climb on)
Agame: Yay! (She jumps on his back) let's go!
Kai: okay hold on tight!
(Agame's house)
(Kai stood at their door waving Agame and her mother goodbye)
(Street)
(He walked into the crowded street with his headphones on, he felt someone watching him but doesn't notice anyone but then notices a shadow the shape of a girl atop of a tall building looking at him then it disappeared instantly)
Kai: I must be hallucinating?
(He walks into the subway and got on a train, sat before noticed its strangely empty)
Kai: okay, not entirely creepy right but I could have sworn it was full a minute ago? (He looks around and sees a girl wearing a strange mecha suit that covers some parts of her body, with two guns in her hand and sci-fi like swords on her back) uhm hey?
(She pointed her guns at him and fired, a blue laser flew past his both ears nearly blasting them off)
Kai: (Fear in his tone he spoke) What the hell?
Mecha girl: Kai Hoshigaki, you have one day to complete your mission or you die. (She turns to walk away)
Kai: Who the hell are you?
Mecha girl: I am here to ensure the task is carried out successfully. Your targets assassination is for the sake of the entire world. I only came here to deliver your warning, next time I won't just deliver a warning, I'll kill you. (Lightning sparks around her and she disappeared)
Man: kid are you okay? (A man taps Kai's shoulder)
Kai: (He snaps out of his trance and notices the train is full) where did you all come from?
Man: you just froze up, are you okay?
Kai: (He touched his temple and felt a sharp pain on the back of his head but doesn't show his pain) yeah I'm okay.
(at home)
(he walks into his apparent and noticed his laptop dinging and a letter beside it with a food pack)
Kai: uhn strange? (He reads the letter out loud) YOU EAT RAMEN A LOT EAT MOM MADE SOME FOOD AND ASKED ME TO GIVE IT TO YOU! LOVE AGAME. (he chuckled and opened the food packs) thank you Agame, I wonder when she had the time to do this. (He flips the letter and sees another writing behind it) PS: IT MIGHT BE COLD WHEN YOU GET HOME SO WARM IT UP.
(He puts the food in a microwave and lands lifelessly on his bed) What a weird day.
Mecha girl: Complete your mission or die!
Kai: I wonder what that was all about!
