My words earned a few giggles from the girls as it was true in some ways, after all the devils were a bunch of proud people.

A few minutes ago both of them were talking and laughing and now that they are starting to play chess, both of them transformed into a general waiting for his enemy to send his troops at the slaughter, and if that wasn't all, Haru was the one that makes her fear for her King, it was as if they were standing in front of a general bloodied by thousands of battles that was staring at them as if he was mocking their inexperience.
This thing was also felt by Serafall which made her quested Haru's ability and while for most people chess may seem like a relaxing game, some people will tell you that war and chess are the same things and if you are good at one of them, you will probably be good at the other one.
Meanwhile, I was observing Sona and truth to be told, she was a very scary opponent to fight if you are unprepared for her, and while she may seem strict, and that trait saved her from the same fate her red-haired friend is suffering right now or not really. After all, Raiser doesn't like a kid, and from what the poor guy told me he is in love with his queen.
While Sona was genuinely confused about what to think and believe about this Yoshida Haru, the boy that challenged her in her own territory. Her opponent was an enigma in her book. Not only his body didn't seem to possess any magic or other means of using the supernatural power, but he also seems to read her as if she was an open book and that scared her. A person like this isn't and won't ever be a simple human, something must be wrong with him and she will find what after she wins the match.

She starts by moving a pawn and I followed her moves. Slowly but surely I was making her feel how hopeless she was. For every single move she makes, I'll do the same until I corner her.
Minutes later, I smiled at her while I was observing the panicked girl trying to find a way out, of course, a way that will not result in a checkmate.
Unfortunately for her, Azazel made me play chess with him way too many times, saying that my mother loved to play with him and bully him every time she won, but I have to say that I'm thankful that he made me learn and at the same upgrade my skill to almost max level.
"And checkmate. It seems that I won, Sona-chan."
Meanwhile, the three girls were dumbfounded by what happened. Sona lost a game of chess against someone and even worse that someone was a guy.
Serafall on the other hand becomes worried about her little sister, while Haru was a great choice for a fiancée, he was also someone that may or may not become hostile to the devils and even he accepts her little sister, there isn't anyone that could make him become a devil, after all, she tried to seduce him and even tempt him into becoming a devil and even then he rejects her saying that his humanity is the only thing that reminds him of his parents.
