Chapter 101 - Everyone, She's Back!

"When are we going to arrive??? We've been on this ship for five whole days already!!! They even said that we would arrive in five days!" Oliver complained.

"They didn't say exactly in five days. They said it should take at least five days." Kaito corrected, taking a bite of his chicken sandwich.

"Urghhh...!" Oliver groaned, throwing the last piece of his unfinished brownie inside his mouth.

Yukio never traveled on a ship before. This was the first time he experienced seasickness the moment the ship began to move. Yukio was pale and he didn't feel like eating so he just watched Yukino eat her fruit salad. As usual, Yukio, Yukino, and Roy were as quiet as ever. Everyone was pretty quiet except for Oliver. Kaito only spoke to deal with Oliver and when he feels like it was necessary to do so.

"Yukio, you should go to the deck and get some fresh air," Karina suggested, seeing how unwell Yukio looked.

"No, it's fine." Yukio declined, wanting to stay by his sister's side.

Karina looked at Yukio worriedly. She then looked at Yukino, who hadn't said anything. Everyone was currently inside the dining section of the ship. Roy was at the dessert table, munching on some chocolate cupcakes and berry tarts.

*Rumbleee...

Roy stopped eating and stood still.

*RuMbLeEe...

Roy's eyes widened and yelled, "EVERYONE, THERE'RE MONSTERS UNDER THIS SHIP!!!"

"What is he talking about?" Someone whispered.

"Monsters? What monsters?" Another person muttered.

Roy didn't care what others thought or said. His top priority is to protect Rem's comrades.

*KREEE!

Everyone stopped what they were doing after hearing a strange, loud noise. Some looked freaked out and panicked while others tried their best to stay calm. Karina and Kaito got up from their seats and got ready to fight. Yukio got up as well, standing in front of Yukino, trying to protect her. Oliver jumped from his seat, running towards the deck.

*KREEEEE!!!

The ship swayed violently. Roy and Oliver were now at the deck of the ship. The sky was still dark, but only this time, it's not raining. Tentacles could be seen. When one of the tentacles grabbed the side of the ship, Roy immediately used his hands that has his fire magic on them and made a slashing motion, burning off the tentacle.

"This is the first time I've seen a creature like this!" Oliver stated, sounding amazed.

"K-Kraken! IT'S A KRAKEN!!!" A woman screamed, trembling in fear.

"Help us! What are you all doing standing there???" A man yelled, looking horrified.

"We've never seen or dealt with a Kraken before! Not in the past fifteen years!!!" The captain of the ship said, running inside the ship to hide from the monster.

Karina and Kaito went to the deck of the ship too, trying to get rid of every tentacle near the ship. No matter how many tentacles Roy, Karina, and Kaito destroyed, the Kraken would automatically heal in a few seconds.

"KAWWW!!!" Karasu cawed, flying in circles at the highest part of the chip.

*BOOMMM!!!

An explosion could be heard and seen. Small, burnt parts of the Kraken could also be seen. Surprisingly, nobody got hurt since there was suddenly a barrier surrounding the ship.

"What...? How—" Kaito was confused and shocked at the same time.

"Hey, I'm back." A familiar voice could be heard in the distance.

After most of the smoke cleared, a black figure could be seen. That figure was getting closer and closer towards the ship.

"Remie!!!" Karina said joyously, running towards Rem.

"Good afternoon. How are you all doing these days?" Rem asked, landing on the deck of the ship softly.

Everyone on the ship saw what Rem did. Many were in shock while others were in disbelief.

"I feel so sick..." Yukio groaned, trying his best to not vomit.

"Haha, I never knew you could get seasick, Yukio." Rem laughed softly, patting Yukio's back.

"You sure took your time," Kaito stated, laying his back on the walls of the ship.

"I got here in time, didn't I?" Rem questioned, facing Kaito.

"Yeah... Welcome back..." Kaito muttered quietly.

Smiling, Rem glanced at Roy and Oliver.

"I'm sure you already know who they are, but I'll finally take this chance to introduce someone to you guys." Rem began.

"The red-haired boy at the right is Roy. Although he doesn't talk much, he's my cousin." Rem exclaimed, smiling at Roy.

'Great work, Roy.' Rem complimented.

Roy brightened up, bowing slightly to greet the others.

"Hey, what about me???" Oliver complained.

"I don't know him." Rem said bluntly.

"Pfttt..." Kaito tried to hold back his laugh however, he failed to do so.

"Hahaha!!!" Karina laughed at Oliver, who looked grumpy and annoyed.

"How could you!" Oliver joked.

"By the way, how's Yukino doing?" Rem asked.

She knew Yukino was fine, but she asked anyway.

"She hasn't spoken ever since we got on this ship..." Karina said worriedly.

"W-Will she ever go back to the sister I know...?" Yukio croaked, holding back his tears.

Rem felt bad for keeping the truth away from everyone.

'I can't tell you the truth. Sorry... I think this is for your own good...' Rem thought.

"I'm sure she didn't speak because she's seasick like Yukio. They're twins, correct?" Oliver tilted his head, staring at the others in curiosity.

"I hope that's the truth..." Yukio mumbled as he sighed.

"Yes, they're twins. You just noticed?" Kaito raised one of his brows.

"So what?" Oliver argued back.

An imaginary lightning line could be seen between Kaito's and Oliver's eyes.

"Why are you boys fighting??? We should celebrate! Rem just came back, you know? She still has a lot to explain to us!" Karina was determined to make Rem spill out what happened these past few days.

"Alright, alright. Before celebrating, shouldn't the ship begin moving again?" Rem looked at the captain of the ship with her menacing eyes.

"Y-Yes, of course!" The captain immediately ordered the others to start the ship and get moving.

"Let's go inside first." Rem smiled, walking inside the ship.

Karina, Kaito, Yukio, Yukino, and Oliver all followed Rem inside the ship.
