Everyone who was present, brought their attention straight into the stadium as they paid full attention to the man who was placed at the center of the stage.
With his ridiculously loud yellow get up, it was hard not to notice this host in the first place.
When he noticed everybody's attention was on him, he gifted all those present with a dashing wide smile before he began to speak.
"I'm glad to have caught your attentions, and if I haven't, well, what other exciting thing is there other than this wonderfully extravagant examination time?" Using sound enhancement in his own voice, his voice reverberated throughout the whole area. Even those outside could get an idea of the incidents that would occur inside the stadium later on.
"I am well aware that you all do not wish to waste time that is as precious as gold with me just blabbering here going on and on with the formalities right? So we will cut off those useless words and just introduce to the students their headmasters who will be watching them for today's exciting event!"
The host took a step back, and whipped his hands so animatedly towards the direction of those ridiculously high stands that Zhu Ling was seated at a while ago.
Although the ones that the four headmasters were seated at were not the ones she was in just recently, but they were at the same level. The only difference is…
As the host pointed to them, as if on cue, the box that held the four headmasters lowered itself down slowly and opened up a screen for them to easily view the scene.
That.
Zhu Ling stared at the box and talked to herself softly "Well what do you know, another dramatic entrance for the headmasters. All that was missing was music."
When the screens were opened properly, all those present could now clearly see who the headmasters were.
Zhu Ling smiled to herself as she saw who the headmasters present were.
Although there were many corrupted people in the academy, there were still a few who upheld their morals and righted the wrongs. Even though they were a few in the academy, a good number of them held high standing positions in the academy.
This was because they came from Shadow Lynx Sect which supposedly watched over Silverdew Academy, along with a bunch of other academies.
One thing that had to be noted though, was that even though this sect was labeled to be one of the righteous sects, there were still a number of misdeeds that they had paid no heed to and this goes to show that no matter how healthily green a grass may be, there will always be weeds that would grow.
But nevertheless, one thing was for sure.
At least they had chosen the right people to watch over the examinations this time.
"We have two headmasters from the Shadow Lynx Sect who graced us with their presence today! The esteemed Qin Chonglin and Chen Huiqing! Along with our very own beloved headmaster in the Silverdew Academy, Fu Guowei!"
While the host announced the names of those headmasters, the reaction of those present were not concealed. Everybody had a dumbstruck expression as they looked towards the direction of the box and were in complete awe.
Qin Chonglin and Chen Huiqing who were from the Shadow Lynx Sect, although were quite young, had already made a mark in the cultivation world.
Their spiritual energies were so much more than one would think and their meridians flowed smoothly like a lake with no pebbles in its path. This, added onto the fact that they were combat and swordsman experts respectively, made them stand in a bright light no matter where they would go.
Fu Guowei came from the academy himself and had been in the academy for more than a hundred years and was noted to be the eldest and strongest archer who resided in the Dongmen area currently.
On top of this, he was a highly experienced healer who could diagnose a person just by looking at them. The fact that he does not hesitate to treat whoever goes to him, made him a favorite in the town.
Even until the host was done with his introductions, the chatter had not died down and it seemed as if a good number of those examinees, grew more nervous.
"This…if one were to make a fool of themselves here, won't it be akin to digging their own grave?"
"How harsh are they planning to be?"
"What do you mean harsh? Just don't lose!"
There were murmurs around which ended up being on how one would not embarrass themselves on today's stage as those watching over them had too much high of a standing.
The examinees were clearly shocked and unprepared at this revelation, but this was not the end of it.
"Adding to this! We have great news! Our two friends from the Shadow Lynx Sect has decided to be headmasters of the Silverdew Academy starting this year, and the batch they would be assigned to are those who will pass this examination!" The host was probably a few of those who were eager and elated to have known this information as the examinees just hunced back even more.
"So do your best and make your marks! The time for the exam has begun!" Walking away from the stage as he said this, he made some more grand gestures pointing to the two opposite ends of the stadium.
From the right side, white curtains that were closed during the entire time, opened up, slowly revealing the first examinee. Opposite this, another white curtain opens up and unveils the other examinee.
Both seem tense, as they were the first ones up, but they knew they had to swallow it in.
