Wang Chul was terrified as he stared at the phone in his hand. He did not want to sit with the fear and postpone the call anymore. So he stepped outside and walked away to the nearby park.
On the way, he saw lots of familiar faces. Children who he taught some basic guitar laughed and waved at him. The teens he played video games with asked him to join for a couple of matches. The young boys he had known for a long time asked him to join them for a movie they planned to watch on the weekend.
Refusing all the requests to hang out, he ended up in a quiet park with old people gathered together to exercise in the evening. He saw a group of ladies walking as they laughed loudly and spoke among themself.
Everything around him calmed him down. But the minute he looked at his phone, he became terrified.
