Adam, a senior journalist, and a common friend, decided to interfere and arranged this meeting. He wanted both the parties to settle out of court. Lisa agreed to meet in the presence of her lawyer.
Door opened and Adam entered followed by Steve and his team. Lisa frowned visibly.
Steve looked at her and winked. Lisa got furious. Melinda pressed Lisa's hand and nodded her head Saying "Don't".

Choka had accepted the offer from day before. They were temporarily occupying an empty penthouse in a high-rise residential society. Omar had found this penthouse. The owner of this penthouse rarely lived there. A parttime Caretaker would come every day at 6 pm in the evening to clean and maintain the house. They were here to complete their first mission from their new boss.
They were all wearing black gloves to avoid any fingerprints. Their heads were covered with beanies specifically designed to keep their hair from falling outside. They arrived here this morning separately. They wore normal clothes to avoid standing out. They wore hoodies and masks to cover their faces. It was normal in this cold weather. They had broken in with the help of Kyle.
It was 3 O'clock now. They had three hours to finish the mission, clean up and leave. It was plenty of time if everything went fine.
They made living room as their base. There was a large glass window in the living room. A large table was placed in the center of the living room. Sound of keyboard clicking echoed in the room. Aaron was sitting in front of a drone remote-control installed in the center of the table. He was looking with full concentration at the screen projected in front of him, as he maneuvered control-stick. The screen showed the street view from the top as he directed the drone to a certain location. It was snowing and view was beautiful from the drone.
It was a state-of-the-art drone created to serve military objectives. It could fly at high altitudes and at very high speed. It was equipped with stealth technology creating almost no sound and was undetectable by "Low-Flying Aerial Surveillance Radar (LASR)". It could carry weight up to 50 kilograms and adhere to a solid surface. This drone had a Camera with the capability of 360-degree vision installed on it and could be controlled within the range of 25 kilometers.
This drone was specifically customized for the mission. It was designed to carry a long-range Sniper rifle on top of it. The rifle was fully assembled and was fixed on drone's customized roof.
Cha had not seen this gun in real before. It was legendary SRHataf303Ex designed in Pakistan around 7 years ago. It had a range of 5,000 meters with highest accuracy among its peers and a state-of-the-art remote firing system. The rifle had silencer on it. For Cha it was like dream come true.
Omar was sitting on the right side of Aaron and was busy on his laptop. He was hacking security cameras installed at the target.
Cha was sitting on left side of Aaron. He was looking at screen with full concentration. There was a rifle installed on right side of the table. The rifle looked like a prop used in games. A black yoga mat spread behind that rifle.
The Rifle, drone and the prop were all provided by their new boss. Kyle was not in the room.
"Almost there." Aaron said in grim voice.
"I am done too." Omar responded.
Aaron landed the drone in the balcony of high-rise hotel. Balcony was empty due to cold weather. He started adjusting the direction of the rifle.
"There." Cha exclaimed as drone showed their desired location. Aaron pressed the button on control-stick and a drilling voice was heard. Drone was fixing itself on the floor. Cha quickly got up and laid behind rifle. He pressed a red button above trigger.
The red light started blinking on the rifle with the sound of beeping. The prop was connecting with the rifle. Cha sat holding his breath. It was crucial for the prop to connect with the rifle. With another louder beep, the blinking of red light and dinging stopped.
"It's connected." Cha said with the sigh of relief.
"Omar?" Cha looked at him.
"He has left. Considering the traffic, he will be there in 35 minutes." Omar looked at his laptop. Cha nodded.
"What about Kyle?" Cha inquired.
"He is there already." Omar looked at the screen again.
Aaron turned the view of his camera around. They could not spot Kyle. Aaron adjusted the Camera back at the parking lot of a lavish bungalow. To ensure the secrecy of their mission they decided not to use electronic communication devices.
The bungalow was heavily guarded.
They waited for 30 minutes.
"He is here. Five minutes max." Omar announced.
Cha started checking calibration of rifle.
"All eyes in control." Omar was overjoyed at his success.
"One minute to go." Omar said.
They all suddenly became tense. Their hearts raced.
Cha was especially feeling pressure. It was his turn to perform. His heartbeat was getting irregular.
"Target's car is in sight." Aaron screamed. He focused drone's camera on a White Smart Car. It was quite fast. It arrived above the porch and suspended there for a moment. It then started coming down.
Cha's heartbeat was getting out of control. He felt like his heart would pop out of his chest. He took a deep breath to overcome his nervousness. He was sweating in this cold. He focused on the door from which Target was supposed to step out.
The car landed; driver got off and quickly opened the door for his boss.
An old, short, and fat American came out of the car. He seemed busy on phone.
Cha gulped his saliva down his throat, aimed and pressed the trigger.
There was a blast near the target. His head splattered.
Cha had hit the target.
