While waiting outside, both Wang Deming and Jiang Xiurong raised a few swords and checked their weight and structures. They even made a few poses to check if the sword they took were good and compatible with their fighting style or not.
They were not satisfied with so many swords and placed them back into their places and went on to check the others.
While they were trying others, the shopkeeper returned with a bunch of swords in his hands. He then placed each sword on the table showing their best views to the customers.
But are his customers that arrived now so gullible to get a sword just from the view of it? They still took them out and checked with their own hands.
Each took a sword into their hands and turned it a few times and unknowingly their swords clashed with each other. As soon as their swords touched, they realized that they were still in a shop and took them back.
It is not good for Jiang Xiurong to show her swordsmanship in front of others after all. Wang Deming is not the one to showcase his full strength to everyone either.
If they both clashed with each other, then because of the strengths of the other, they would have to fight more stronger than they were supposed to. Hence they stopped it before they could go to a level from where they can't come back.
They placed their swords back on their places and calmly looked at the other swords as if they were not about to fight against each other.
Wang Deming looked at the shop keeper and asked, "Are there any other good swords?"
The shopkeeper hesitated for a while but he looked at the questioning gaze of the Fifth Prince, he nodded his head. The Fifth Prince was the favorite son of the Emperor after all. If he were to offend him, then it would mean that he was incurring the wrath from the Emperor himself.
It is no secret that once someone offends the Fifth Prince, the Emperor would not leave that person alone without punishing him. This status and love was not even given to the Crown Prince. Hence everyone fears the Fifth Prince more than the Crown Prince.
It is just the luck of the citizens that the Fifth Prince is a warm hearted man who would never punish citizens randomly. Instead he would try his best to help everyone. If their Fifth Prince was an evil person, then they would fear that almost half of the country's population would have been very easily destroyed, if he wished.
Hence even if the Fifth Prince was good to them, everyone couldn't help but be a little wary of him. The shopkeeper hence spoke softly while stuttering, "That, Fifth Prince, I do have a better sword but there is a problem with it."
"Problem? What is it? Is it specially made for someone else?" Wang Deming is not unreasonable enough to grab something that someone else had specially ordered for it.
The shopkeeper shook his head and said, "No no, Fifth Prince. It is just so heavy that it is very difficult to hold it. I can't even carry it easily let alone swing it. If you want to see, you can come inside to take a look at it but its weight…"
He did not finish his words but Wang Deming understood his words. If it is heavy for him, then could a 'weak looking' Prince carry it and even use it so easily. Since it was the Fifth Prince, he could not say those words directly to him.
After all, if the Fifth Prince was angered by such words, which could be considered as him being humiliated, he could very easily give him a death penalty.
Wang Deming instantly understood why he was shivering all over and stuttering to just speak about a sword. No matter how warm he behaves, he was feared by everyone in the country. He couldn't help it.
He thus simply sighed and spoke, "Okay. Just show it to me once. I will see and then decide."
He turned his head to look at Jiang Xiurong who was busily looking at the other swords and told her to continue doing so and he will be back in a while.
He understood that even if he invites her to follow him, she may not follow otherwise her eyes would have shone already.
The shopkeeper and Wang Deming went inside to check for the 'heaviest sword' and Jiang Xiurong was peacefully looking at the displayed swords and checking them.
"Jiang Xiurong," an angry call was heard from the entrance of the shop with the voice being so low that anyone who heard it would think that he was calling for her to kill her the next second.
