Elizabella's exams were quickly finished and when the time came to go home, she went to inform the school that she would not be coming to school for the remaining week as she wanted to take the time to finish her song for the weekend. After getting permission, Elizabella left home.
Since today was the last day of the exams for all the students that did not have to take the make-up exams, the week long showcase from the Arts department began. Normally, they would have started it on the first day back from the weekend, but since the exams were the main priority this week, the second day was when they started. Typically, Elizabella liked to attend the other students performances and would stay after school to watch and listen or she herself would perform alongside the other students, or direct the performance, while trying to get the audiences' votes for a spot in the weekend lineup.
However, she knew that she had to finish this song on time since the royal family were going to be watching this closely. If someone asked, "Are you not nervous to perform this and have the royals watch?" she would answer, "Not really."
Since she was young, she has had recitals in front of the Queen of Edalelia and her two grandsons that Elizabella grew up playing with. All manners of stage-fright disappeared long ago and instead she has an abundant sense of self-confidence, which may be why she was bold in her art.
To be fair, she was never this outspoken when her family was alive, so not many people of her past would know this side of her. Her earlier works were very, as Elizabella would put it, "innocent" compared to how she does her performances now. If anyone were to compare her old works with her new works, they would see obvious dark tones to them.
For example, in the past, the colors of choice she would use would be very bright and bold. Now, she always opts for a heavy overcast feel without making it feel heavy. A sort of mockery to an illusion of a blissful bubble. Once, Walliams commented on this, her response was, "My blissful bubble burst. Now I see the world for what it truly is while acting like we are still in a bliss bubble."
The comment made Walliams ponder, eventually looking at her before looking away and sigh. This comment was heard by a few other servants as well, making them sad to know that they understood her plight and wished that her so called bubble had not burst when she was so young or that it had not been so forceful of an impact as it had been.
**********
For Elizabella's music video, she decided that it would focus on a wedding preparation of a strong warrior. The bride would be played as herself as she wakes up early the morning of the wedding by her CD and reads some very mean comments on her up coming wedding, making her feel upset and not want to get out of her bed.
In the room that she is in, you can see a warrior's outfit on a stand next to the wardrobe and a photograph with the couple, supposedly, since it is a dark room with the only light source being from the half-curtained balcony door of the raising sun. The comments get highlighted as they come out of the CD in holograph form and fade out after the audience would get a moment to read each of them.
She eventually sits up with a closeup of her and in the background you see the photograph, implying that she will get up for the person in the photo. The scene moves to her singing passionately while wearing some rose-gold tinted glasses. It would then move on with a glitchy transition to a hard fought battlefield with a warrior wearing the same gear as in her room, but it seems battle worn. The warrior moves amongst the smoke and debris of battle gear littered on the ground going up to a hill before transitioning back to her singing in her room, when a maid passes in front of the camera.
Next you see the bride getting ready as the maids would all be fixing her dress, doing hair and her make-up, while she continues to sing. In the background, the stand that had the warrior gear is empty with only the wedding veil over the stand, next to her wardrobe. The camera would mostly be a side back shot so you never really see her face as the maids do her make-up and the last thing they put on her would be her veil.
For the wedding dress, she decided that she would use one of her backup dresses and for the veil, she decided that showcasing her real one in advance would be alright. Though, she had to ask permission first from the royal family if she was allowed to show everyone about her wedding dress details. Since it was for the music video and she said it was a wedding preparation and a wedding, they thought that it would be fine if she did use it since everything at this point was on a tight schedule.
Throughout the whole video, she made sure to flash her engagement ring, whenever she could by making sure that if they had close-up shots, her hand would be in frame or her looking at it with a soft smile. The whole point was to make it seem like she was anticipating the wedding even though the bride felt like she was going through a battle.
As she leaves her room, she flashes her ring again and continues on to her waiting car while singing. During the car ride to the wedding location, their is an instrumental solo while the scene switches from the battlefield and the car ride as you see the warrior getting closer to the top of the hill. At the top of the hill, you see the sun raising and a person standing on top, seemingly waiting for the warrior to reach the top.
As the solo dies down, the chorus sings softer as the bride walks down the aisle in a candle lit room. Making the room have dim lighting all around as she slowly makes her way to the groom. You cannot see his eyes because of a shadow over his face because of the dim lighting. The onlookers also have their eyes in the dark, making the scene look scary as everyone seems to stare without eyes.
However, the bride sings softly as she crescendos her voice and does not seem to mind the stares as she is only focused on the groom. With a bright but shy smile, you can see through the veil with a close-up of her face while she holds her bouquet and again her ring is in frame.
The scene changes back to the warrior finally reaching the top of the hill and the person on top holding out their hand to the warrior. You can never see the person as the sun is behind them, blinding anyone trying to look at him. The warrior reaches out their hand to grab the person and when their hands touch, the scene turns back to the bride and groom holding hands as they are now facing the crowds and about to leave the church while the crowds seem to applaud.
They make their way happily to the waiting car as the crowds crowd around the entrance to see them off while some throw confetti and rice. The happy couple get in the vehicle as the bride waves at the crowds while flashing her rings. It ends with a scene change of the warrior disappearing from the hill alongside the person who had reached out, leaving only a panoramic view of the battlefield as the sun begins to shine on top of the debris and fades out.
With the music video done and now that the reporters are sniffing out for any news on what it may be about, Elizabella had only told the concept of the video to the royal family and not the actual music, which she got a pass by them. All that she had to do now was to remain quiet until the weekend where she would show the music video at the Academy. She decided that sleeping the day away would be the best solution after working so hard.
