I don't know what to expect when I go to college. But I know that I'm going to be the baddest bitch there.
I'm moving to a no-name-town on the outskirts of Oregan that's called 'Upraiwee' Famous for its an enormous lake. Apparently a tourist attraction. Other than that it was was a normal town, that really should be considered a city. It over 40,000 thousand people living there.
I've followed my parents for far too long I'm 18, legally an adult so that's what I'm gonna act like. I'm gonna be what I've been hiding from my parents, I'm gonna make mistakes, get drunk, hell I might even get high.
But what I'm not gonna do is wait in a 9 car line at McDonald's. Might as well go to Wendy's and get a 4for4. I've been driving for 8 hours to reach Maple Side University, and Google maps is getting on my nerves. If I have to get on another highway I'm gonna lose it.
Thankfully Google maps has stopped being the pain and, tells me to turn right and my destination would be on the left. I was kinda nervous because I've never lived the life that I wanted. Much less live alone. I just want to be the best me that I can be. As I slowly approach the parking lot I take notice there are barley any parking spaces. "guess everyone else is one time". Luckily I find one in front of the school doors just asking to be parked in, it seems like a good spot to use after school. But there's and SUV getting ready to park there too.
In a flash, I hurry up and park my car before the SUV could even think to turn there steering wheel. I mean I was hiding my true self. To put it plainly I was a bitch.
I jump out of my Jeep onto the ground. Brushing down my wrinkles getting ready to get my bags from my trunk. As I walk down to my trunk I see the SUV still sitting there. Being the person I am I smile and wave at the driver as they drive away. But before they do in the back seat I see light brown eyes looking me straight in the back and I stare back as they get further away from me. Did I feel bad....no? If life gives to lemons make lemonade.
I grab my bags and head to the administration office to receive my schedule and dorm room. "Hello I'm the transfer student Thana may I have my schedule please" the older woman looks up at me and responds "You do know class started 10 minutes ago right sweetheart"?
"Are you telling me I'm late"?
"That's right honey" she responds
With the smart mouth, I have I say " Albert Einstein says time is irrelevant, maybe I'm not late maybe your just super early"? I remember seeing this in a movie once.
She stares at me for a while and lightly chuckles while giving me my schedule and an extra hall pass.
I look up at her and she winks at me. I think I like her.

Walking down the hallway I examine trophy's, medals, and pictures.
There was one picture that stood out the most to me. It was far away from all the others. In the picture stood a male around my age. He had light skin, Curly hair, Full lips, and Earring in his right ear. He wore Gray Nike Joggers that hugged his lower half. A white Nike shirt that was tight around his torso, showing his broad chest and abs. His outfits finished with white fresh Nike Air forces.
"Where have I've seen you before," I say aloud completely forgetting about my class. He was so good -looking in the picture. You could say I was captivated. He was standing face forward in the picture, his head slightly tilted and both hands in front of him.
"He's hot ain't he?" I hear a voice from behind me say. I turned my head so fast it gave me whip lash. There stood a girl in front of me with long brown hair a black mini checkered crop top and checkered Vans. She was incredibly pretty.
"Y-Yeah.....Do you know him? " I reply
She laughs and says " Your defiantly new because absolutely everyone knows him" I raised my eyebrows surprised, I was found out so quickly I kinda wanted to hide it.
I'd meet a person try to find out their name and if they talk to I'd be 'Hey! your Jimmy from last year!' and when they don't recognize me I'd pretend to be insulted.
"Anyway...your late I'm late...." I stared at her in confusion when she started again.
"Your new I'm not new".....still confused I gave one of those smiles older people give a child in a grocery store.
"Don't give me that" she laughs " I was indicating that I'd walk you to class."
"Oh," I say trying to hold back my laughter. I give her my schedule and we start walking.
"What's your name?"
"Thana" I reply
"Wow your name is beautiful" I smile at her words. I take words to heart soooo.
"Hesperia," she says. I glance up at her
"My name" she continues. All I can think about is how beautiful her name is, it suited her well. Beautiful name beautiful person. It made sense.
Lucky we were majoring in photography together so we basically had all our classes together
I don't know why but today...it felt like a good day.
