Chapter 36 - Aroon!

I didn't know what I was truly doing at this moment. All I could think of was to just force that stupid horse to stop running, turn around and come with me to rescue Aroon.

That was the plan all along.

Yet the moment I was midair, I felt a strange fear.

Jumping on such a racing horse wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. The ground approached me so fast that I was certain that if I ended up with deep wounds, a few broken limbs and kept my life intact then I would be very lucky.

However when the ground came at me fast, a strange thing happened.

A strange pillar of light appeared underneath me. It started as a small rounded orange light that started to expand on an alarming rate without pause.

And then I found my body being held by a warm thing. It wasn't a living being but it felt like the warm embrace of a very soft bed.

Even softer than my own beloved bed.
