Chapter 34 - The Mysterious River

Things kept happening in my life without being able to control any of it.

I was always doomed to be on the passive side, not starting anything but always reacting to all.

Even now, I was forced to come on the horse and run with him. I didn't want to be with anyone, especially with someone like him.

Aroon… he wasn't that bad, I could understand that. He saved my life back at the mansion, however at this moment I didn't know if what he did was right or wrong.

Did I deserve to die? Was dying the only solution I would have to escape my miserable life?

"Let me down!"

I screamed again and this time my voice rang all over the empty forest around. We were running in the daylight, as the sun rose up in the sky for hours now.

I never thought what happened inside that poor shack took such a time. I never thought it was… real.

However Aroon was stubbornly running on the back of his stupid horse and not listening to any of my words!
