"Wait. The group you're talking about wouldn't happen to be the same group that just suddenly vanished centuries ago, would it?" Alice asked, a curious look covered her face.
"They are the same. Out of all five hundred hundred people that lived on this floor three hundred years ago, only one family managed to avoid disappearing. I just so happen to be the last living member of that family." Felix said, standing proudly.
"Hold on. Alice, what do you mean they just vanished?" I asked, raising my eyebrow as I tilted my head.
Alice turned to face me, "I mean they vanished. It's one of the biggest mysteries here in the tree."
"Yeah, and I believe these writings here will help me discover the mystery. I even got the location of the islands too." Felix said, using his thumb to point at the writings right behind him.
The sound of rocks hitting the ground behind me put a quick stop to our conversation and turned our heads towards the noise. We all stood back and watched as a person with blond hair walked into the light created by the torch's flames.
"So you can read that writing?" Aoi asked, walking over to us.
Aoi squinted his eyes as he looked over the writings. He spent the next couple minutes doing that until letting out a tired sigh and stepping back with an unsatisfied look on his face. He looked over and gave us a confused look with how we were all staring at him.
"Is there something you want?" Felix asked, breaking the ice.
"I want the location of those islands. I plan to set out to find them and I'd like to take you along since you can actually speak the language. Oh and I guess you and your guild can come too." Aoi said, turning towards me.
"I feel so honored." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"Great. We set out to sea tomorrow." Aoi said before suddenly walking away.
"Wait what?"
