Alessio's P.O.V
I felt so happy walking out of the hospital I almost smiled, almost.
I knew I needed to back by her side and protect her. She was in more danger than she realized and while I was bedridden in the hospital from some prick hitting me with their car, she was out parading around with one of the most dangerous people she could possibly be near.
Of course, I let her near danger. It's my fault for not being there. Sure I couldn't control the fact that I had gotten hit by a car. Or the fact that he asked her on a date. or the fact that I couldn't tell her why she was in danger. Or the fact that I couldn't tell her about her family.
Okay, I couldn't control anything but that doesn't mean I can't do something about it.
