It had bothered me the whole way back to campus that I had run into Veronica. I wondered if Alessio knew she was here. Maybe it was better if I didn't tell him. He was in no shape to deal with that right now being in the hospital and all.
Alessio being in the hospital scared me a little bit. He was my rock. But how could I be his when I'm the reason he is in there to begin with. It wasn't fair. I wish that car had never been on the road. The doctor said it was a hit and run. That it was intentional. But who'd hit Alessio of all people?
"Get out of your head Viktoriya. You're only making this worse for yourself." Melanie said to me while pulling into the parking lot.
She wasn't wrong either. Thinking about all of this only made me feel worse. Why had he freaked out about me talking to Frank the way that he did? Why has been acting so weird lately?
