Alessio's P.O.V:
"Vicky get your heavy ass of me." I groaned as I tried to push her off me. She was still sleep and couldn't hear me. I guess we will have to do this the hard way.
I shoved her off me and watched as she fell off the edge of the bed. Oops I pushed her in the wrong direction. Sorry not sorry.
I chuckled a little watching her get off the floor rubbing her ass and grumbling.
" Good morning Vikky," I said offering a smile.
" Shut the hell up asshat. You pushed me off the bed" She replied throwing a pillow at my face.
I caught the pillow getting out of bed to make it up. I'm worried about her though. Even though she seems fine I know she is just hiding how she feels. That asshole really messed up making my Vikky cry like that. Let me cross that asshole in the street and he will wish he never laid eyes on her.
Not to mention that the whole thing was lowkey illegal anyways. Stupid prick.
"Alessio stop murdering my bed. What the hell is wrong with you I'm the one who should be mad. You pushed me off the bed." She said glaring at me but smiling.
"You still on that? It was like a whole 5 minutes ago. And I'm fine." I said tucking her cover and rearranging her pillows just the way she likes them.
"If I didn't know any better I would think you were gay. Arranging them pillows like it's a sexy man," She said laughing and walking into the bathroom. Shortly after closing the door, I heard the shower turn on.
" Wait, what the hell. I'm not gay and you like the pillows that way. Fucking weirdo" I said into the bathroom door hearing her giggle from the other side.
" Make me some breakfast bitch," She said laughing from the bathroom.
" Your one lucky son of a bitch Vikky. If you weren't naked I would totally come in there and beat your ass. And I was making breakfast anyway so you can't control me because it was my idea first," I said sticking my tongue out at the door childishly. Then remembering she couldn't see me and I probably looked like an idiot, I went downstairs to the kitchen.
"Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Ivanov," I said nodding to her parents walking past them to the cabinet grabbing the pancake mix.
"You can just call us mom and dad. Might as well you've been here your whole life pretty much. You're always around you know that" Her mom said smiling while her dad nodded.
I just nodded not wanting to start a conversation.
Getting out the pancake mix I started making breakfast.
Vikky came down the stairs hair wet looking like a goddess. Wait. What?
My mind is beneath me this morning, kind of like how I want her to be. She always looks like a goddess what am I thinking?
Exactly brain what the fuck are you thinking?
"Why are you staring at me like that?" She looked at me with those beautiful eyes of hers.
"Why are YOU staring at ME like that?" I responded, smiling at her.
"I asked you first," She said laughing
"Chocolate?" I asked grabbing the chocolate chips getting ready to pour them in the pancake mix. Her favorite.
"Naw, not really feeling it today. Blueberry is better." She sat down at the stool in front of me looking at her phone. Her finger was hovering over something. Gio's contact. Why did she even still have his number?
"Vikky look at me," I said hoping she would even though I knew she wouldn't meet my eyes with her own. She looked to the side where her parents had sat only moments before. When did they move? I hadn't even noticed.
Probably because you were too busy noticing her.
Shut up brain.
She finally looked at me and for once, just this one time I wish she hadn't.
Pain covered her face as she looked at me with sad eyes. Eyes that were usually bright just seemed so dull.
"You are allergic to blueberries. You remember that don't you?" I asked cautiously. Why would she ask me to cook her something that could possibly kill her?
"All the more reason for you to put them in my pancakes." She said smiling. It didn't reach her eyes.
I sighed, putting the entire bag of chocolate chips in the mix and stirring it. While I was cooking I noticed she was crying. Sometimes it's better not to inquire. I already knew why she was upset. She was still hung up on that asshole. I didn't get the appeal. She wasn't a gold digger so the money wasn't what she wanted. She could do so much better. I could treat her better.
But you won't. Because you respect her. And she'd totally friendzone you.
Nope.
"Huh?" she looked up over her pancakes which were almost gone at this point.
Shit. How much had I said out loud?
"What?" I asked looking confused.
"You just said 'She'd totally friendzone you'. Who? Have you been talking to someone?" She asked suddenly more interested in me than in eating.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it. Are you done or do I need to force-feed you the last pancake?"
She laughing going back to eating.
"I'm serious you look so skinny I'd think you weren't eating anything if I wasn't with you all the time I see that not true."
She looked down at her stomach and shrugged eating her last pancake. Grabbing the dishes, she went to the sink and before I could stop her, she had washed them.
My phone rang and as much as I wanted to ignore it I knew that I couldn't. She looked at me as I stepped out onto her back porch answering the phone.
"What?"
"Boss we have an issue down at the mall. Someone intercepted our shipment last night."
"What the fuck do you mean someone- I told you to fucking handle it! I'm coming and you'd better put in some damn work to change my mind because right now all I see is a fucking bullet in your skull!" I hung up the phone pissed off. She didn't know about this side of me. And she never will.
"Hey, I have to go home now. I have to take care of some things." I said to her grabbing my coat and shoes. She looked like she wanted to ask me why I seemed to be in such a rush but I didn't give her the chance. I got in my car, pulled out of her driveway, and made my way straight to the mall.
The mall I owned.
