Jack gulp his saliva roughly, not to mention with his hair slightly wet. He felt intimidated by the gaze of the middle-aged man who was now sitting quietly on the sofa in the middle of Daniel's room.
Jack hasn't yet to make his voice reply to the words of the middle-aged man who, without permission, entered the room.
"Jack, you don't wanna talk answering my question because Daniel is your boss, not me?" asked Carl at the end, who was getting annoyed with Jack's attitude who just stayed where he was, didn't say a word.
Inevitably Jack finally struggled to make his voice.
"So..–Sorry sir, I didn't mean it, Mr. Daniel is out, sir, there's another business," Jack said in the end according to the words that just crossed his head.
For a moment, Carl frown, then nodded his head.
"You want to lie to me?" asked Carl, one corner of his lip pulled up.
Hearing Carl's words like that, of course, made him sweat even colder.
