Daniel now has finished his dinner with his father.
Carl's face looked a little radiant and patted Daniel's shoulder lightly as if his pat had another meaning, but Daniel could not realize.
"You sleep in your room, don't have to go back to your apartment," whispered Carl, who realized that Daniel was about to say goodbye to him.
Hearing these words, of course, made him stop his steps and keep his father's feelings.
Inevitably, Daniel nodded his head in agreement with his father's wishes. After all, there's nothing wrong with staying a day at his father's house. It won't hurt him.
"Fine, dad, I'll stay a day here," said Daniel, giving in to his father's wishes.
Honestly, sometimes he misses the house. It's just that sometimes he is proud to tell his father. He feels independent, so if he often comes to his home, he cannot wholly escape from his father.
This may be what disturbs Daniel's mindset.
