CHAPTER 64
"I think it's better if I'd be with everyone." Her reply was as they stepped into the opening. The door opened on its own. Lorna took the lead, and she was on her tail. She noticed there were another three doors inside. One to the left, right, and ahead of them.
"That door to your right leads to the servant's quarters. That door ahead of us was the way to the mansion's living hall. And this, to my left, is where we should go." Lorna introduced each. They all look the same, though. A gray metal door with a scanner to its side against the white-colored wall.
"Honestly, why the white color?" She just had to ask it.
"White conceals nothing. I grew up with it. That's why my apartment in Falden was white too." Lorna showed her ID card again to the scanner to her left, and the door had a creaking sound before it moved.
