Chapter 42 - Extra Chapter 1

PART - 1

Where did it go wrong?

Why did it go wrong?

Was there anything we could do?

Why?

Just… why?

That was the thought of God at that moment. The moment of whirl. The moment of the hurricane. The moment of the storm that killed God.

A boy, one that you could find anywhere. Watched as he heard the sound of sirens blaring off in the background as his eyes were burned towards the whirling sound heading towards them. A storm was approaching. Wrath. That was all he could describe it as. A blaring red storm heading towards them with a whirling sound. It was nightmare.

A girl, on the other side of the city, watched too. The sight was even closer to her, so she could see each of the individual dots in the storms. Capital-class destroyers. Each of them equal to the might of even the strongest and grandest of cities. They were blaring red as that was their signature color – the color to express death and destruction. There were hundreds of thousands of them casting a shadow over the horizon.

In few minutes, the storm went past them. Dropping the lightning of God.

Flash. White. Doom. Death. Destruction. Annihilation. Cruel. Hot. Blinding. Explosive. Awesome. Terrific. Horrific.

There were many ways to describe the event. Many adjectives, nouns, verbs. But in this context the one that fit this even the best was: Usurping.

The storm went along the wind like a raging, unstoppable hurricane. Casting death and destruction upon the land.

Each second; the earth was torn apart, the mountains were sundered, the sky blown apart, and the sea burned.

Hell. The Heaven created by God was turned to Hell.

In a month, every single piece of land was converted into ash and dust. None of the mountains stood standing. The ocean boiled away for the most parts. The very world itself torn asunder.

Due after the annihilation, stars started falling from the sky. Clouds which covered the world were torn apart in their descent but they quickly got back together. Soon, nothing remained of the legacy of God except themselves. Not even ruins were left. It was a thorough annihilation. The chance of retribution: null.

PART - 2

Thousands. Lined up.

Hungry. Starving. They were.

Not one of strength. Not one of will. Not one of aspiration. All merely a shadow of their previous valor and splendor. No, there was not even a shadow left.

Went out. Foraged in the eternal winter, in eternal darkness. Returning with nothing.

Thousands. Dead. Starved.

Weak they were. Very weak. Not a single ounce of strength remained in their muscles. Existence itself proved difficult.

Hundreds. Lined up.

Starved. Primal. Nothing remaining of their previous valor and splendor.

Ruthless. Unthinking. Single-minded. Driven. Mad. Insane. Broken.

Not one of strength. Not one of aspiration.

Weak. Very. Existence brought agony.

Went out. Foraged in the eternal winter. Returned with meat.

Ate. Ate. Ate. The taste of pork took their mouths.

Breed. Breed. They did.

Usurpers. High above the sky. Ruling hell. Overlooking God. Laughing at them like insects. Prideful, arrogant, and conflicted.

They set their sights towards the stars. Towards the true heaven. Towards the truth. Towards the falsehood. Towards the unknown.

They were ecstatic about it. In their minds laid the wisdom of God. How could they fail? How could they fail with the wisdom of their creator? How could they fail with the wisdom that gave them the strength to kill a world… to kill God?

Spears were fired off. Thousands of them. Some lived to watch over hell. Most left for search of heaven.

PART - 3

Divine Furnaces. The creators of world and destroyers of others. Grand in scale and power. Legendary were their creations. Mythical even. Heralds of grand cataclysm and creation.

One.

Flew, flew. Moved through the world. Seconds. Made impact with a flat disc.

Change it brought.

PART – 4

Sons of God. Visited the stars and aided the worlds. Giving them powers of gods.

Heavens were created; Hells were risen.

Year 50000. War.

Monsters from the depths of unknown. Manipulators of worlds. God. They identified. Worlds were created and destroyed at a rate never seen before. Stars were sundered. Entire galaxies were burned. They very rules of the world bowed before them.

Not one scream could be heard. Not one understood. Not one realized.

Year 50005.

God were victorious. Every single world bowed before them. All were awe in their power.

Year 50006.

Disappeared. God remained not. In a matter of year, they went away. Like a dream. A mystery far mysterious than anything. Though the ripples of power had burned itself into the great history. Naught remained of the trace of their present existence.

PART – 5

Two parties. One made from many; one made from one. Both having one goal. Domination. Their plans after that? Unknown.

Giant wars erupted. Mountains were raised from the ground. Oceans were frozen. Deserts were flooded. Wastelands were turned to rich havens.

Mass development on scale never seen before happened. Each side trying their best to one up each other. The existence of coin was seen was a mere annoyance. People – from children to elders – from 1 to 100 – fought, took part.

The toll of the war started to affect the world. So, the parties went to the moon.

A person, special by no means. Watched. Commanding and controlling. Manipulating strings like no other. Demon some called him; God others. But one thing was for certain. He was the supreme.

Arrows were fired to the moon. Each of them having a mind of their own. Firing off at the targets that were the most vulnerable and important.

The moon appeared to be an eye in the night sky, watching the world whilst crying for all the pain it had suffered.

Retaliation was imminent.

A single entity dispatched.

The world saw as the event that followed escalated to unimaginable scales.
