"He's back" a prisoner nudged Luca who turned toward the door as Matteo emerged. He had a bruise on his face and looked tired but otherwise had a victorious glint to his smile.
"He's a strong one huh" he muttered as the boy made a beeline toward him. He sat by Luca, enjoying the sun rays that fell on his face. Staying in isolation was hard as he enjoyed nature.
"He dead?" he asked looking up at Luca innocently, one would almost assume he was a child had he not just murdered someone.
"Yeah ... dead on arrival," Luca said, he kept a straight face although internally sizing him up, would he be guilty? Triumphant at the kill? Would he assert dominance over the others? However, Matteo did none of that and instead nodded and began asking about the dinner they would have.
As Luca walked away an hour later, he couldn't help but wonder why Kore hadn't trained him. His animalistic way of killing with no method had made him wonder if the boy had extreme rage, or he just didn't know how to kill in a subtle manner. From what he could tell, he had bashed his head into the metal bars till it was indistinguishable mush. If he was skilled enough, he could do it without half the mess.
Anyway, that wasn't important because it was visiting time and Bianca said she would visit.
As he was waiting to be called, he adjusted his hair, it had been quite a while since she had come to visit.
"Luca... no visit today. There's a message" The guard said," go back to the ground"
"But... my daughter said she would come." he looked at the guard with wide eyes.
"Yes... she sent a message." he said, and pointed to another guard," go ask."
Luca stood up, looking one last time toward the visiting rooms before making his way to the guard who read from a paper.
"She called to say two people in her tour group are missing. So she cannot come today" he said.
"Okay" Luca walked toward the ground. He was the most peaceful inmate and the guards had let him have a looser leash than anyone else in the prison. He used this to move around as he wanted within his limits.
How could two people go missing? And why did it stop her from coming? Maybe they just didn't continue the tour. Perhaps she was just making up an excuse to not visit him...
Sobering up, he walked back to Matteo and sat silently by him, not responding as to whether he had a visitor or not.
"Everything is okay?" Matteo asked. Luca looked at him for a few seconds before nodding.
"Just fine," he said," Let's learn English?" he asked and smiled as the boy nodded enthusiastically.

Place- surveillance room.
Time- 4:05 pm.
"He killed him with his bare hands" The officer sighed in exasperation," Why can we not keep him in isolation?"
Looking at the footage of the medics taking Stefan's body out of the cell, Chiara nearly rolled her eyes," This is what you called me for?" she asked.
"Well...we were told that anything related to Matteo comes under you," he said," you plan to do anything about it?" he asked, annoyed that she wasn't doing anything and asking silly questions.
"You don't have footage from half an hour before this clip due to an unfortunate glitch... at that time is where Stefan allegedly broke out and went to Matteo's cell. Stefan has been accused of assaulting many inmates in the past. Maybe you should have kept him in isolation. This was self-defense. Your people let him out of prison and covered up for him, and he tried to assault Matteo who happens to be one of the biggest serial killers that Italy has seen, and he paid for it. Tough luck" she shrugged," I'll tell them how incompetent you are and to run an inquiry into Stefan's previous in jail assaults," She said with a smile which dropped almost as soon as it had appeared," Is that a good enough plan for you?" she asked.
"Can I go now? I have actual work to do. Keep Matteo under surveillance... properly and do not isolate him again" she said," I'll come to meet him later on... Have a good day."
