Jenny's POV
"Holo En ein putis!" I shouted as I fired a ball of energy at the attacking infected. "Savin! Telaloc Yeuso!" I summoned a Paran worm that attacked the infected in the vicinity. I fired my pistol at a nearby infected to ensure that fucker will stay down and out.
Since we got off on the 1st floor, I and Sakura kept heading toward the emergency stairs, fighting the infected on our way to the basement level. Thankfully, I can use my magical abilities to replenish our ammunition in case we run low, but thanks to our telekinesis and PSI powers as well as blowing them up with my magic, it seems easy to deal with. Sakura However urged me not to underestimate our enemies as head down further since they will get stronger over time and can adapt.
A scream pierced the air and got into my defensive stance as a group of infected moved toward us. Sakura tug at me to run, but I ain't backing down from a fight.
"Come on!!" I shouted as the infected came after us. "I ain't afraid of you fuckers!" However, one of them jumped down from the ceiling and ran toward me.
"Up the stair path to the clouds above..." I spoke while dodging its attacks. "Oh heaven, hear me... Hear my call!" I continued speaking as I grabbed the infected and punched it hard in the face. "AS THE STAR, MOON & SUN ENTER AN ETERNAL DANCE ... THE EARTH SPINS IN TOGETHER AS ONE... AS ALL THINGS ARE MADE IN HEAVEN..." time sped up around me but I can move faster than those fuckers before their eyes can blink. "LET TIME ITSELF SPEED UP INTO A NEW DAWN!!" I shouted as I swiftly threw myself at each infected, cutting them up with my knife as it makes them out of butter.
"Let's go, Sakura!" I said, but I noticed she is bleeding faster from the nose. Shit...
We moved toward downstairs, making our downstairs, moving as fast as we could. I know they'll get downstairs, time for me to slow them for a bit.
"Hear me as I stretch my hands..." I began chanting. "As I reach higher than any man before me..." I continued as the infected still chased after us. "STRETCH OUT! SEIZE THEM! GRAB THEM! CRUSH THEM! MOVE WITHOUT LIMIT!" I said as I jumped to another section on the stairways. "ELIBURA! I have Summoned you from a world that never was!!" I shouted as I summon my ally to hold the infected while we made our getaway to the Basement level.
Underground Mutants
"Sakura, are you alright?" I asked since we have gotten a breather.
She said to me: Damn straight; I am alright! But again, you need to pay more attention when you warp reality; you gave me a goddamn nosebleed, Jenny-chan! You almost killed me with accelerated time.
"I'm sorry, should have taken that into consideration," I remember that sometimes when I warp reality I have to speak it into existence or will it into existence. Also, I have to be mindful that if I am not careful, I can accidentally get them swept by a flood and drown or speeding up time to where it would kill them.
She asked me: Where are we?
"The basement. Floor 1!" I said with certainty.
We have sensed your presence throughout this place. We are now aware of who you are.
We looked around for the source of the voice, but I have a feeling that they are speaking to our minds. I mentioned to Sakura to be on alert. She pulled two dual-pistol- FE6s models. I pulled out my Winchester 1925, changed to specification for this occasion. As we moved down the hallway to look for the underground Lab, get the components, and get the hell out of here.

"How did you know about my name?!" I shouted out in the air.
You have nothing to fear from us, we are growing in Harmony inside our womb. We know your names during your battle from the Machine People. They suppress us... They have weakened us... And now we are freed. Come...
We saw swarms of infected coming toward our direction which we found a place to hide so they wouldn't see us.
Let us embrace you in the warmness of our unity. You will be embraced and accepted. Our brothers and Sisters will be meeting with you shortly.
"I rather go into hell than to be part of you, abomination!" I shouted in my mind.
Why choose hell? Is it because you have suffered at the hands of humanity? We saw how your life unfold, how you were in the embrace of a family-
"SHUT UP!" I shouted at that memory.
Find them! Let them suffer no more pain. We will open our arms and welcome them both into our warm embrace of family.
"You heard, my brothers & sisters." an infected spoke out. "Find Jennifer & Sakura! Bring them to the warmth of our family..." I saw an infected woman with her jaw exposed on her right side and... Her legs are gone and yet, I sense... Mana radiating from her. "Lay them to the side to be forgotten if they refuse." the infected woman said. "SPREAD OUT & FIND THEM!" with a simple command they disperse to search for us.
We need to stay moving as possible but I have a feeling that the floating corpse can detect our presence if we try to leave the area. Sakura nods her head to let me know she is ready to follow my lead. I simply charged them to attack the infected with my rifle, landing headshots. As I shoot them down, I cast a magic missile while firing my shots at them, ammunition is not a problem as the shells fall on the floor and can use magic to replenish them.
"Toro Gomadan!" I shouted as I punched the ground to create a shockwave that took out a group of infected.
"We are willing to embrace you, To love you... Yet you chose to embrace the pain and Tyranny of the individual." someone spoke from behind "Why?" someone whispered behind me
I turned around... it was the woman who commanded the infected to search for us.
"I assume you're the one that is behind the whole mess?" I asked, watching it float without legs.
"No, Jennifer... I am only one of my sisters in Harmony. I am happy and safe." she said which her teeth showed as if someone took a chunk off her cheek. "Speak. We are listening," she said without any malice or hostile intent.
"Shit.," I mumbled to myself, I did not see this coming. "Are you like some happy, smiling cult? Because I am not interested in joining you!"
"We are a collective, Jennifer. We are seeking Harmony & Unity of the whole," it said to me. "We are not "this happy, smiling cult" as you call it..." cubes began to manifest around it. "Will you merge us into the Harmony or will you become a discord to us and be laid aside as we sing our harmony into the stars above?" it asked me.
I laughed at that thought, why does it want me to join it. You are probably wondering why an infected creature is speaking to me, a living being that remains uninfected. Normally, the infected would chase their victims and feed on their bodies to feed and sustain themselves. They look like brainless zombies but they don't exhibit mindlessness or being distracted but never have I encountered one that can float in the air and cast spells with the bitch having no legs and floating around in the air.
"Your answer, Jennifer! Will you be with us in Harmony? It is not too late to do so." the infected woman asked me, I chuckled.
"Sure, I'll join your harmony, where to sign up?" I said sarcastically, but I noticed it frowned at my answer.
"Your deception has told me you still oppose us, do you think we will fall for that?" it said, pointing out it saw through my lie. "Very well, we will lay you aside... " it floated up in the air to summon... Astra cubes?!
"YOU WILL REGRET NOT JOINING US, DISCORD! YOU SHALL DISRUPT US NO LONGER!" it shouted as it hurls the cubes in my direction.
I swat them like they are nothing and threw some of it back at it, but it teleported out my sight. I summoned my knight and commanded to attack the infected on sight. When it teleported near me, my summons attempted to swipe at it, but it grabbed the sword with one hand and fired cubes at it to dissipate it.
"From the ground that bores me..." I spoke to the ground. "We are dust and like dust... we shall return to the ground that made us." an earth mother is manifesting.
"We will have none of that, Discord!" the infected shouted. "Silence..."
"AND -" I ... I... Can't speak. God... I can't hear a word from my mouth.
As I clench my throat trying to get words out of my mouth, I realize I cannot cast spells either. My summon has fallen back into the ground. I attempted to fight back using my PSI and telekinetics but the infected swat them aside and threw some of it back at me. It came at me with balls of energy, knocking me down. As I fell into the ground, it wasted no time attempting to finish me as it summoned swords in mid-air and launched them at such speed.
Shit... Is this- Is this the end of me... Dammit!
An Old Friend or Just a Shadow?
"Jenny-chan!" a voice said to me... Sakura?!
When my eyes opened, Sakura froze the creature in place while beginning to scream at us. I saw that she is raising gravity to ground it in place, but I am seeing Sakura is bleeding from the nose.
"Jenny-chan! Hurry! I can't hold this bitch for very long" she pleaded for me to hurry while she can hold it down.
Wasting no time, I grabbed it by the neck and put my arm in a headlock.
"My brothers and sisters will avenge me..." it wailed at me as I began tight my grip with it trying to bite into me to break free out of my grip. "Be certain of that..." I broke its neck with one swift motion. With that, the creature that was human is now lying motionless.
I tried to speak but the silence spell will take time to dissipate and believe me it would be a while for the effects to wear off. I motioned for Sakura to come over while she was still bleeding through the nose. I told her I cannot while the silence spell is active, but she nodded her head and understood what I was going through. She hoisted me up on my shoulder; I forgot to consider that she is strong when she applies the Space-kinesis power over herself as headed to the underground laboratory.
When I was there, I saw it... Millie?
"Hello, Jenny... Sakura," she said with a smile. "Looking for me?"
Wait... Isn't she supposed to die? We saw her getting burnt to ashes. They should be no more traces of her left. Why is she here?
"Jenny-Chan... That is not Millie-Senpai!" Sakura said to me in my mind, "The Millie I know would be a lot more cynical than this. Something is wrong, here."
"I know" I spoke to her in my mind. "This is not Millie." I turned to the would-be Millie. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?"
Millie laughed out loud at us as she faded from view... What is this?!
"Look out!" Sakura pushed me out the way.
When I came to, I saw... Floating biomass, that looks... I don't know what to describe but I saw a small mini-hands on its lower half and it is floating there, attacking with its blast of PSI.
We returned fire to attack it and made it disappear. We looked at each other and thought, this is to be too easy. We searched for the chemicals and found the Nanotite beads for the serum that we needed. Now we -
"Discord... Eliminate..." an inhuman voice said to us... I turned around... That thing again?!
"Jennifer... Discord... Eliminate!!" it said before blasting at us again using its PSI Blast,
