While all the students are gathering at the great hall for dinner, two girls could be seen running down the corridors. One laughing and one cursing while her face is turning pale.
The younger girls is looking at the positioning of the sun every second and hoping she wouldn't hear the clock ringing. For that sound would paint her evening in a darker color than she would like it to be. Aching knees are not what she would like to feel while reading her books. What if the punishment will be worse than last time? Salazars expression told her enough last time. No way that she wants to find out the horrors of Helga's imagination.
Just when the clock turns six o'clock and starts to make its presence known, Willow and Helena could be seen barging into the headmasters room.
Gasping for air, Willow looks up to Helga hopefully, begging with her eyes to be lenient. Helga smiles as she sees Helena wink at her, knowing she made sure Willow would remember to stop and come up for dinner. For magic sake, how can there be two Salazars in one room. They don't even like one another, but still act the same.
"Just in time dearies, now sit down before dinner gets could." Helga smiles as she motions them to sit down. Looks of pity are cased at the empty dark green leather chair that is still waiting to be warmed up. Though Willow may have avoided punishment, the same couldn't be said for one stubborn old wizard, that was probably still stuck in a book whilst experimenting. Helga sigs as she slowly stands up.
"Excuse me for a moment, I'll be right back" A creepy and sinister smile starts to form on the face of the aging witch.
Willow feels shivers run down her spine as she clasps her hands together to make a prayer for the pains he will have to endure. With a pop Helga disappears, leaving the silent noises of Godric silently eating. Rowena looks at Helena and Willow as she softly clears her throat to get their attention.
"Helena, Willow, how are your studies progressing?" Rowena asks.
"Hmm... I studied most of the first years materials, and I'm past chapter 22 of the assignment you have given us" Willow mused out loud as she stuffs a piece of turkey in her mouth.
"I'm at chapter 18 and I'm almost done with the first years materials. I've already begun with the potions making of the second year. Uncle Salazar has some really interesting recipes" Helena chided in while she excitedly talks about the research's she and Salazar are doing.
"Well if you two have progressed that much, let's do a test after dinner. Show me your improvement, and maybe I'll teach you how to do something new" Rowena smiles as her daughters live up to her expectations. For the topics in the assignment are higher level than they teach their students.
While Rowena is thinking about her next teaching material, Helga appears with a pale and withers down wizard in her clutches. Salazar makes his way towards his chair and quietly sits down, to making any sounds till dinner was finished. During the meal, Godric would pat him on his shoulder a few times to cheer him up to no avail.
As soon as the food disappears, Rowena, Godric and the twins stand up and leave the room. Quietly fleeing from the disasters that is to befall the aging wizard. For they know of the horrors that Helga brings with her fury.
They walk into the circle in the library as Rowena slowly sits down at the chair at the head of the table. Helena and Willow look each other in the eyes before they start with their demonstration.
"Helena first, what would you like to show me. First something you exile in, and last something you are terrible at. Same thing for you Willow" Rowena states as she sees het daughters think about the spells they are going to use.
Helena steps forward as she whispers a spell under her breath "Accio cauldron" . Some glass and books can be heard falling to the ground down stairs as a black shadow is creeping up the stairs. Currently they are standing on the middle floor of the library. From the black putdown stairs, a cauldron is seen coming up.
Helena smiles as she starts to fill the table with dried and musky ingredients. some of them are plants, but most of them are dried up stinking creatures. Though Willow likes all animals and creatures, she draws the line at the dead ones.
As Helena puts down the last ingredient, the cauldron is finally positioned in the middle of the room. She quickly starts to cut, mash and boil the specimens. While Rowena tries to hide her smirk that is forming on her lips. Of course she knew he daughter would pick potions. While they are busy with the test, a bad feeling starts to rise at Willow's back.
She slowly turns her head to the corner of the room, only to see a shriveled up wizard peeking at this student. *Sigh* Seems like that damn geezer taught that sister of her some annoying leverage to use. Vomiting potion. Seems like her reading time is getting lesser and lesser. Who would like to suffocate due to disgusting aromas while reading?
While Helena might be a genius in potions, the next thing she can't avoid.
*BOOM!* A loud sound echoes in the room as black smoke is rising from the centre of the room. In the middle of the smoke a sooth filled Helena is seen standing. Her har is standing in different directions, while some of it is even burned.
"HAHAHAHA!!!" Willow hold her stomach as she falls down while laughing.
"Willow!! It's not funny!" Helena screams at Willow as she is rolling down the ground. Even though Helena is brilliant with potions, she is terrible with charms. A simple defensive spell and look what happens. She always gets the words right, but somehow the movements are always wrong. Even Willow doesn't know how she does it, for even potions use wand movements.
While Rowena gives Helena a few pointers, Willow collects herself as she is thinking about the spells she is going to use.
Helena walks back towards het edge of the circle while giving Willow a death glare. Willow shrugs it off as she walks toward the centre.
Willow whispers something under her breath as multiple hot blue flames start to form around her. Though small, their numbers are slowly increasing forming a steady small circle. Some hints of the shape of birds can be seen while the flames whirl around Willow. Rowena smiles as this is one of her original created spells. Though the shapes of the fire would differ with the person.
Satisfied with the result, Willow canceled the spell.
Now the worst part. Willow looks at the cauldron before her. Though she isn't that bad at the subject, most ingredients used in the lessons of Salazar are living specimen. How could they ever think she is going to practice this horrible lesson material. Never in her life is she going to use living creatures for her potions.
Salazar, still standing in the corner of the rooms snickers as he knows how much Willow hates his subject. Girls will be girls. He turns his head away and slowly leaves the room, while Willow is receiving a preach about the usefulness of potions.
Rowena sighs at her daughters, thought they may look alike, they are so different. While shaking her head, Rowena start to explain them the concept of forbidden dark arts and how to defend against them.
