MAX'S POV
There hadn't been that many guests. Ruby's father had decided on that particularly since there wasn't a body to bury. He still had hope that his husband may still be alive out there but Ruby for some reason just knew that he wasn't there anymore.
The living room was filled with people, holding a meetings in clutters and saying the most colorful things about Mr. Williams, almost as if he was the Messiah, without a single fault. It's disappointing how people only appreciate you when you're dead.
