Tears coated her cheeks at the sound of the metal door closing with a loud clang. There was nothing she can do to stop him. She was all alone now.
The squeaking of shoes drew her out of her agony as she looked up. Giving a strained smile to the person who'd been her friend these past few months.
"He's going to be okay, Victoria. Don't stress it." She'd developed a slight hatred for those words. Every person she went to said them-maybe not in the exact words, but they said it.
Rubbing her large bulge with a sigh. She stared down at her belly in wonder, before drawing her eyes to Elliot.
"I know, but I can't stop feeling like all this was my fault. If I hadn't-" Elliot slamming his fist against the table, causing the glass of whiskey Bryan was drinking earlier to turn over.
She sighed, shaking her head. 'I'd have to clean that up later.'
