Isabella wiped the excess moisture from her face with the back of the arm as she slouched against the dustbin, releasing an exhausted sigh. It was almost midnight when Isabella felt the sudden urge to vomit.
It wasn't like this was a normal occurrence for her; she had only experienced this two nights ago. Killian said it was just a small bug, but something inside told her it was more than that.
Sweat trickled down her face as she panted heavily. Who knows puking had so many side effects? I guess that's stupid of her to ask. It was just like getting pregnant. The only difference then and now was that she wasn't pregnant.
The door creaked loudly as the sound of a pair of footsteps followed and before she knew it, enormous arms hugged her from behind.
"What are you doing up so late?" asked Killian in a croaky voice after placing a sloppy kiss at the side of her head.
"I vomited again," she groaned. This was much worse than her giving childbirth.
