"Oh…" trailed off Victoria as she tried to hide the hurt on her face.
The two were still at the pond as they watched the sunrise and the fall of the moon. It was Victoria's first time seeing this happen and couldn't help herself from squealing.
With her hands clasped together and her mouth open in awe, she ignored the annoyed look he gave her when she grabbed his arms in excitement.
What surprised her was that he didn't pull away from her, though she knew his insults were going to start immediately after the source of her excitement was gone.
Her eyes were exhausted and her brain was overwork, causing her body to enter autopilot mode while watching the scenery.
"You made me late, I'm never late," he voiced, his voice filled with anger.
She watched in shock-and a bit of hurt as he harshly drew his hands away from her grasp, causing her to stumble slightly.
You know that this was going to happen, don't be a crybaby about it.
