Malcolm hanged his head in regret when he heard the annoyed sigh she gave through the phone.
"What you want Malcolm?"
She asked, her tone filled with anger and what he would place as a curiosity. He definitely didn't want to be shouted at or scolded right now, he'd already got enough from both Victoria and Will to last him a lifetime.
"I wanted to hear your voice," he answered with a soft smile, although he knew that sweet-talking would not be enough-especially not after what he did.
Playing with the piece of paper Victoria had written her resignation letter on, he sad on the desk, hoping that Will hadn't forgotten something.
"I told you to not call this number again," she sighed through the phone. The unfamiliar accent she wore made it difficult for her to understand him.
