Chapter 69:
"Seriously? My baby boy has a girlfriend?" asked Jenny in a somewhat disappointed tone. Not that she wasn't happy per se, but it was all too sudden.
He was only 25 and didn't have the first thing about taking care of kids.
"Yes Jen, Why are you so against him being in a relationship now? Two months ago, you were worried about him," stated her husband as he grunted while pushing himself off the counter.
Jenny eyed him carefully as he hoped to the nearest stool, his injured leg trailing behind him.
Even though in her angered stated, she wasn't about to sit and watch the man she solved hurt himself again.
"That was before I knew his poor taste in women… If she's not a gold digger then she's a snob, if she's not a snob then she's a hoe and if she's neither of the above, she's a single mom," said Jenny in disdain.
Her son surely disappointed her.
"I can't argue with you on that," voiced Ethan with a sigh, "But, give her a chance," he continued.
