Chapter 68:
"Well, Ms. Jamespell, seems like you are one of the lucky ones," said the doctor to Victoria while removing his gloves from his hand.
It was about noon the next day and Victoria decided the first she was going to do was to check up and see if her little one was doing alright.
She really wanted to go the night before, but sadly the cramps got the best of her sending her to sleep.
"You know you shouldn't be drinking during pregnancy, the effects could've been worst," informed the doctor in a stern voice as he glared at her playfully through his glasses, causing her to smile.
He reminded her a lot of her grandfather.
Speaking of grandfather, she hasn't heard from him in what? Two years? Three years?
She wasn't really sure.
'Guess I'll check to see if I still had his contact details,' thought Victoria to herself before nodding.
"I only intended for one drink," she sighed.
