Chapter 66:
"Hey, where were you?" asked a worried Zaiden when he caught sight of Victoria.
He really wasn't that worried about her, to be frank.
He was just worried that he didn't fulfill his duties. He was the one who brought her here, after all.
"Oh, me?… You know, just here and there," she said as she shrugged, not wanting to get into full details.
"Come one, I want to show you something," announced Zaiden excitedly while grabbing her hand, pulling her somewhere.
"OK," she said as she gave him a weird look before curiosity got the best of her.
"What is it?" she asked while maneuvering her way through the crowd, following him.
"You going to see when we get there," replied Zaiden, causing her to frown in protest.
"But, surel-" her protest was cut short by the sound of a familiar voice calling out to her, causing the two to stop.
Turning around, Victoria silently prayed that it was not who she thought it was.
