Elliot sighed as he shook his head, "Look, you deal with her and I'll try to see if I can understand what Bossman wanted to say before that… Um, Victoria interrupted him."
"Appreciate it, man," nodded Axel, noticing how Elliot looked at him before he walked off.
"He looks mean," voiced the little girl once Elliot was out of earshot.
Axel could hardly contain his laughter, his face immediately turned red from him laughing too hard. He felt short on breath and it felt oddly satisfying. Maybe it was because he was enjoying his time with this little girl. Her mother would be so proud-
Axel froze amid his laughing. To think about it, where was her mother? Surely it would be, no. It was odd for a mother to leave her child in this big ship, well to think to abut it Victoria did the same thing to their kids.
