Axel gave him a sarcastic smile as he exaggeratedly gestured towards the center of the room while taking a step back.
"Sorry man," he continued with a sarcastic laugh, his hands held in the air as if he was to say 'I give up.'
The annoyed stares were not compared to the one he'd received from Victoria about some years ago in the hospital bathroom. It somewhat hurt him to think about what conspired that entire night. What was there to think about, really?
His children grew to hate him, so much to where they'd opted to go to boarding school. Even his little ones were going there at Victoria's call. He hardly got to spend time with his kids.
And why is that? Because of one big go-getter, prying media company. If all his wealth weren't his kids' right now, he'd have just hired someone to assassin everyone working in that company's family.
