To his surprise, the snake made a feint attack, moving to his right instead of his left. Making a jump-like motion using its entire body, the snake wrapped itself around Elliot's neck as it hissed at the behind him.
"No, I don't think so."
His trembling hands reached up slowly towards the snake as he took a step forward towards the direction of the exit.
With each step, he took the tighter the snake wrapped himself around his neck. Elliot too was surprised that he hadn't got bitten by him.
'Maybe it's just luck.'
It wasn't written in his destiny to get bitten, but to save those kids. In his version of his destiny, of course, he was sure it the authentic version he was supposed to get stung multiple times.
Nothing much.
The aggressive nature of the snake reflected poorly on his balance, causing his body to tilt slightly. His best guess was that the oxygen flow in his body wasn't that good, because of that damn snake.
