Big doe-like eyes stared at him with trembling lips. He didn't understand the sudden change of emotion, he'd blame it on the mood swings. The jet shook with a great force, causing him to lose his footing, stumbling as he did.
"I-I'm sorry but the jet's left-wing is on fire… W-We is losing balance," the shakiness in his voice was evidence that what he's saying was true.
Not that Elliot doubted him. But there was this small tingling feeling in the back of his head, telling him not to listen.
'Maybe it's the devil trying to push my death date up,' thought Elliot in a nonchalant tone.
And although it may sound like a joke to a passerby, it was a signal that he knew what was going to happen next. If the jet was currently flying with a wing, then it would be a matter of time before it reaches the engine.
