I glanced at Carol to see her already sitting comfortably so I joined her. "Please, enlighten me if you would be so kind. How the hell did you get him?" The commander asked with a big grin on his face. "It was honestly just a lucky shot sir. He was in the middle of calling me a clone so I took the chance to shoot him with a rocket launcher." I responded with a smile. I had realized that the CMP base never discovered the masks weakness, so they didn't know that I was powerless against emps. (electro-magnetic pulse) Carol chimed in as soon as I was finished, "I approached my clone with the intentions of making conversation but she was in a terrible mood because of that armor you showed her. She had some kind of sound device that caused an excruciatingly painful headache. I fell unconscious and woke up because of the explosion. I rushed to the sound and saw Chris standing over his clone. I still can't believe you really did it honestly." She spoke so freely about her weakness that it made me a little guilty.
"Well now, was that really all it took? Just catch him off guard and blow him up. I knew I should have learned hostage situation skills damn it," the Commander snarled.
" Alright let's go talk to him," he said as he stood and made his way back towards the elevator. " What do you mean talk to him? He shouldn't be allowed to wake up, he could destroy this entire base alone!" Carol pleaded. " Isn't this what you brought him for, to get information? We have his hands confined and chained down so he can't use them don't worry about it," he replied.
We ended up going down about 5 more floors and the doors opened to reveal a metal gate and an armored soldier standing guard. " Sir! Welcome Comander Sir, we have the prisoner confined exactly as you requested," the soldier exclaimed as he opened the gate and led us down a long metal hallway to a room with a metal door. The soldier opened the door and there he was and exact copy of me powers and all. They had metal cups around his hands and chained them to opposite sides of the room.
Time to find some answers.
