Normal. What is normal? Many stories begin with it being a perfectly normal day, however this one is a little bit different. We don't have a normal- I want to live in a world where the word normal is an insult, in comparison to it being socially acceptable like it is now.

If you like stories that start with a very normal day, followed by a small unexpected event and concluding with a cliché happy ending; then I am afraid to tell you, that this book is absolutely not for you. I would highly recommend that you put the book down immediately, or even burn it, but whatever you decide to do, do not continue to read. I repeat, do not continue to read.

If you have continued reading to here, then I guess there is nothing I can say to deter you from this destructive truth, so I might as well start. Unlike most books, this does not start with a normal day. All we did was turn left on our traditional route in to the town centre, all we wanted was a bit of freedom from the standard regime we constantly held ourselves to. One small change that was never intended to turn into the disaster it did. One small mistake and the rest of our lives were changed forever.

Sorry, I have just realised that I never actually introduced myself. My name is Alec and I am the sole survivor of the events that took place three years ago at Foxworth Hall.
