Chapter 34 - It's been Awhile, Son

I followed Shawn up a long line of stairs.

"Here we are, our ticket home. Now step inside, this won't hurt a bit." He told me. I stepped inside the teleporter and then the room turned blue again. We ended up in Railroad HQ. The same place I teleported last. I saw Dad and he seemed relieved that I was alive. He turned his head and looked at Shawn. The Railroad members raise their guns at Shawn.

"No stop he's a friend," I yelled as Shawn put his hands over his head.

"I'm not here for trouble, I'm simply here to see my Dad."

Shawn stepped out of the pod. I got out too and headed over to Dad, Shawn followed me.

"It's been awhile, son." Dad said. He went in to hug Shawn. Shawn hugged him back. Shawn was older than me now and older than dad. The Railroad members started looking at the two of them.

"I've missed you Dad. I thought I would never see you again," Shawn said quietly.

Dad smiled. They ended the long hug and looked at me.

"I know it's gonna make you mad Shawn but we need to end The Institute. There killing way to many people and we need to stop them."

He looked mad and sad at the same time now.

"Okay I'm in," Shawn said.

"Now I don't want to argue with you- Wait did you just say your in?" I asked.

"Yep where do I sign?" He asked.

"No need to sign the Railroad is open to all." Dez said to Shawn.

"First we may want to get you new clothes," Dez suggested.

Shawn followed Dez to a closet filled with deer and farmer cloths. Shawn went behind a certain and put on a farmer outfit.
