After getting ready, and by ready I mean putting on whatever shirt I can wear then putting on a sweater and sweatpants then running out to the front door to see if he was there yet, but he wasn't. Instead, behind me I heard the door open and there was Lisa standing there with a sly smile.
"Waiting for your mans I see?"
I shook my head, now getting used to her teasing, maybe it would be okay to say something about why I was spending time with him.
"We're not dating, or anything like that, I'm just helping him."
She placed a hand on her waist with a tilt of her head, waiting for me to continue what I'm going to say.
"It's because I can help them in game."
She tilted her head again.
"How so exactly."
As I was about to continue explaining, we were both distracted by the sound of a car driving up the drive way, and it was the detective. I just gave him a bow then looked over at Lisa, giving her a small bow too.
