I walked inside and gave a smile to the nurses in the front desk, told them who I came to visit and went up to the floor my mother was on. The hospital was usually quiet, even with the people walking by, most would be whispers. I continued to walk forward until I reached the room that said Lee Haya.
"Mom?"
I knocked on the door before walking in, seeing my mom looking out to the city from the window before she looked at me with a smile.
"Hey honey, how have you been?"
She was looking weaker and tired, but she still greeted me with a smile. I need to earn enough money so she could get the surgery, I just hope the quest I'm doing right now will give me enough money for her surgery. Hopefully it doesn't take long either.
"hey mom, I've been good, how about you?"
I walked over to her and sat down on the chair near her bed, giving a warm smile back.
"you've been eating properly right?"
