X774, 17th of December.
Over the two years, multiple things happened. First thing, Jax turned ten years old while Cana turned eight and almost nine years old. Hisui, the same as Jax, also turned ten years old, and her birthday was a few months back.
Over the two years, Jax continued to work hard. His clinic is now known across the kingdom of Fiore and even the kingdom of Seven and the kingdom of Caelum next to Fiore. Civilians have renamed his clinic as the Fairy clinic since he doesn't ask for money for helping people, and instead, people can donate if they want.
He has no idea how the matter went out. Still, someone spread the fact that he actively collects celestial spirit keys and magical equipment. Whenever someone wants to leave a donation, they will either leave money, give a celestial spirit key that they found somewhere or give magical equipment. Due to this, he has over three thousand celestial spirit keys. Unfortunately, they were only silver celestial spirit keys and one black key he had previously obtained during his second job. Not only the celestial spirit keys, but he also collected over 237 magical armours and 532 magical weapons. Now, because of this, he had to enlarge his first basement to store more equipment.
However, across all of this, Jax noticed that the people who gave money mainly were the ordinary civilians who gave a little as thanks. Those who left celestial spirit keys were the richer civilians, while the magical armour and magical weapons were from nobles, business people and royalty. Indeed, he even healed the royalty of Fiore, which wasn't that surprising and the royalty of the kingdom of Seven as the king had been poisoned.
Moreover, from the various jobs he took over the two years and three months with his clinic's addition, he now possesses a fortune of over 237 million Jewels. It is necessary to know that even with this amount, he still gave a large part to the kingdom to help various orphanages because, honestly, he had too much money, and he wanted to help them as well.
Over his jobs, he only collected various magical items such as explosive lacrimas, which are used way too often by dark mages, and he left there the other various regular magic items as they weren't worth anything. As for the explosive lacrima, he collected over twenty thousand of those. Over time, he stored them in the basement of his house. There wasn't any chance of exploding since he deactivated them all, but even so, he kept them in an underground bunker a kilometre under his house. It had been reinforced, and even if they were all to explode, nothing would be felt at the surface; even the bunker wouldn't be too much damaged.
Overall, he collected way too many items without even trying, and this situation happened.
Jax continued to take on various jobs as it was the fastest way to improve his magical abilities. With this and the clinic, he improved his sound, nature, dark and fairy magic to three pearls. All the others still only had two pearls, but they were getting better each day.
His magics changed the moment he inserted the third pearl into the groove. His sound, nature, dark and fairy magic allowed him to take the characteristic of the magic. In other words, when he took the aspect of dark magic, he turned into a dark-human, and physical attacks would phase through his body. If he transformed into his sound magic, he would become almost transparent. With his nature magic, he looked like an ethereal tree as he became almost like a tree but could still not be hit by physical attacks. Overall, this was great magic that revealed itself at this point. However, he also learned that whenever he took the trait of the magic and transformed, he would become unable to use other types of magic. As such, it was both practical and impractical.
Except for his progress, a few other exciting things happened. Cana was finally allowed to take on jobs, and Jax accompanied her on her first two jobs. In the first job, he took the lead and explained everything to Cana, while in the second job, she took the lead, and Jax helped her if necessary. It was pretty easy since whenever they met the client, they would be respectful due to his reputation in the kingdom. As such, he helped her do two jobs, and she immediately started doing them alone afterwards.
Of course, the master said that he was showing her the ropes, but the master had also asked him to confirm whether she was ready for taking a job alone. After accompanying her on her two first jobs, he had to follow secretly during the third job to confirm whether she was ready. Moreover, the master had decided that he would be accompanying the recruits on their three first jobs, the same way he did with Cana to help them integrate better.
However, he didn't mind at all and accepted since he became an S-rank mage of the guild and supported the guild from the back. Indeed, he became an S-rank mage when he turned ten due to his magical power, his reputation and his maturity.
As for the S-class jobs he took, he only took those coming from the kingdom of Fiore and not private ones yet. Due to his status as an S-rank mage, he had been allowed on various secrets, and it became common for Jax to enter the royal palace to either meet with Hisui or take a job from the king. He came so much to the royal capital that he now had his room in the castle. It also became the second room of Hisui as she never went over the habit of sleeping with Jax and would always join him whenever he came to the castle. As for when she visited his house? She still slept with him. As for Jax? He didn't mind and was happy to sleep with her. Even Cana joined him from time to time because why not?
Finally, over the two years that went by, Jax joined Laxus on a few jobs. He was specializing in taking down dark guilds, and whenever Jax joined him, it was because they were stronger than expected, and he needed to have Jax as a back-up. Anyway, during one of their mission together, Laxus and Jax saved two boys and a girl. They were named Bickslow, Freed and Evergreen. Those three all had magical power and decided to become mages. As such, Laxus created the thunder legion with the three as subordinates. They kept taking jobs that required them to take down dark guilds as Laxus had something against them, and the three new members didn't have them in their hearts as before being saved, they were going to be sold as slaves.
Of course, Laxus invited Jax to be a temporary member as they were both aware that he didn't have time to join them on all of their jobs as he had his duties as an S-rank, the jobs from the royal family and his clinic operating. However, they both agreed that Jax would be their back-up whenever necessary.
It was necessary to know that since Jax managed to reach an S-rank mage's strength, Laxus increased his training to become an S-rank mage as soon as possible. As for the three new members, Jax accompanied them on their two first missions and followed them secretly on the third to confirm everything went well.
Moreover, just like he offered Cana, the three new members also started to live in his villa. There was enough space, and he could increase it if necessary, so there were no problems on this side. As for Laxus, who had previously rejected living in his house, he changed his mind and started living there as well.
So, along with him, there was the room of Cana and Hisui on the top floor, while there was the room of Laxus, Bickslow, Freed and Evergreen on the second floor of the house. Jax made a few modifications to their rooms according to their wishes and added their names on their doors. He also slightly changed the house token only to open their room door or the door of anyone who allowed them. Jax figured it would be helpful for everyone's privacy.
Finally, on the seventeenth of December X774, a new member appeared at the Fairy Tail guild's doors. It was a black-haired, dark-blue-eyed young boy. He seemed to have problems with his clothes as he kept taking them off only to wear them back after a while when he noticed they were gone. Jax was slightly surprised at his behaviour but considering everything strange in this world; he figured it might be standard for the boy.
